This is just what a pub should be. Firstly, the beer is well-kept. And the welcome is always friendly. I've visited a few times over the past few months and it's always the same; a place where locals meet up for a nice pint and a chat, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. If you want loud music and multiple TV screens, this is not the place for you. It's a rarity these days but, as I said above, this is a proper village local pub.

Great place to go for a beer and some food - the garden is lovely with fantastic views of Salisbury plains in the back ground and the odd goat wandering up to your table for extra entertainment. Henry runs a great pub and always friendly and helpful!
