The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Windermere Town South Lakeland North West

I can't praise this Cafe highly enough. Right from our first visit, the service has been excellent and the staff very, very friendly. The food is always delicious and excellent value. The Cafe also has such a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere that it has now become a regular place for my wife and I to go for a tasty breakfast or an afternoon snack, relax, and also get to meet other locals. But don't think twice if you're not a local but just visiting the area, the staff are such lovely people they will make you feel so welcome. And, very important for us, it's dog friendly.

Can only describe Charlie,s as excellent,the food was delicious on a cold and wet day and staff so friendly and helpful.We all chose the full English served with piping hot tea and coffee and have to say the sausages were top notch and the prices very reasonable. Could,nt understand some of the negative comments about the staff as we could not fault them in anyway. To the staff thank you for the tasty lunch and pleasant service.Top marks for Charlie,s

We called into this place on spec and we're so glad we did. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Nice varied menu with vegetarian and gluten fee options. The food was delicious, generous portions and nicely presented. I'd especially recommend the Indian halloumi wrap, which was delicious. Highly recommended, we'll definitely call in again the next time we're in Windermere
