Brew Room Cafe in South Lakeland

Waited 15 minutes for a bottle of orange juice and a coffee. Waited 4o minutes for breakfast. Food was ok but the toast isn’t toast at all it is a crust roll type of bread that seemed to be heated up rather than toasted, like over heated in a micro wave alerting the breads structure and becoming biscuity. What remained of the coffee was stone cold when it arrived. Staff pleasant but it is understaffed.

You order and pay at the start so there is no walk away option. Coffee took 10 mins cooked breakfast another 30 mins. The place was filled with people waiting for service so new customers are turned away. Strange buisness model.

Located in the town of Windermere it was so easy to get to where we were staying. Absolutely the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time I had the wrap and partner had a full English. Service by Emma was top notch so lovely and polite and also very quick service. The vibe was so chilled and not rushed will definitely be recommending to family and friends and will be back thank you !

Called in for a drink and cake which were lovely. Friendly and helpful staff. We always call in when staying in Windermere. Highly recommend

A great visit on a busy Saturday of Easter weekend. Great choice & a good welcome. Menu was varied with specials available too. Service was swift & the food lovely. Noticed there was live music in the evening too. Would definitely return & recommend!

I come here once a year whilst charging my car at the local supermarket. Lovely staff, great spot for people watching. Best scones ever and I am already looking forward to my visit next Easter 🐣

Nice breakfast - prices weee a bit steep for what it was, lovely staff, also a bit of a wait on the food. They did warn us which we appreciated. Great coffee too and dog friendly !

Delicious food - we had the breakfast menu and it was great. Staff very friendly and attentive. Pleasant ambiance too. Recommend.

It’s great place to grab a good coffee and some great food. The sandwiches were made with good quality produce and service was fast and attentive. We would definitely recommend

We went in for a quick breakfast which turned into a ridiculously long wait. We only ordered 2 sausage sandwiches and 2 coffees. We were in there for well over an hour. People seated after us were receiving their breakfasts before us, it was only after complaining that ours arrived. No one murmur of an apology. It's a shame because our food and others looked nice.

We just had drinks - coffee and smoothies. Quite quiet but nice spot. Reasonably priced for an expensive area too. Perfect for families, didn’t try the food

We discovered this little gem on our city break and we were absolutely delighted about everything. The service is amazing, everyone friendly and helpful, the food was divine( wish we could eat more)... and THE COFFEE!!! THE COFFEE MADE MY DAY! Their lavendercino is the best coffee I had in a long time! Thank you for everything!

Ordered at the counter waited 10 minutes for coffee to come to table. Staff seamed to be very busy chatting among themselves rather than keeping an eye on customers. Waited 35 minutes for two breakfasts. Sausages was very over cooked , black on the outside which resulted in the meat being very dry. The bacon was also overcooked and rubbery. Eggs was snotty. Beans not very hot. Black pudding a little under cooked. Toast was more like warm bread. Hash browns would have been a nice touch. Only got asked if food was ok when we was about to leave. When leaving there is step that is not noticeable. There was a sign but it was on the floor so I didn't see it and tripped. A sign would be good at eye level. Definitely will not be returning.

Its so refreshing to go to a cafe/coffee shop for breakfast and have such a wide range of options including gluten free and vegan. This place was a great find for us for breky, the staff very friendly and the surroundings spotless. Tea served in a proper china cup and saucer was lovely and proper leaf tea pot with strainers was a bonus we werent expecting. Cant recommend it enough 👍🏽

We called in for a quick coffee and it was excellent. Served by a very helpful young lady who made us very welcome without being overly fussy. Only had coffee but next time will definitely try food. A good steady stream of customers came whilst we were there. Very friendly and warm atmosphere. Will return.

Not busy and we still waited 30 minutes for a crumpet. No apology or extras for waiting around, we were sat with cold coffees when eating, it would’ve been nice for a free coffee for the wait. Crumpet was nice though.
