The Farmers Arms in South Lakeland

We had a lovely dinner out here recently and we both really enjoyed it. The old pub has a really good vibe to it, friendly staff and they serve really nice pizzas especially. There seems to be other stuff going on during the day, such as pottery, a shop and cafe.. worth a visit..

The service and food were exceptional, staff very pleasant and helpful, I had brisket which was lovely. Could not pick a fault, will definitely recommend and will be calling again before I head home.

I just ate the most amazing non conventional pub grub I've ever had - vegan Korean Bibimbap. Stunningly delicious

Sudden Snow - We were attempting to get to Millom, and were caught out, we couldn't go further...So abandoning thd Car we were along either other couples seeking refuge here, amazing staff found us a room overnight, the Food was amazing a lamb stew and chips, a lovely selection of home cake on the bar, Delicious Ciders, Beers and spirits, great friendly people/ atmosphere. The room was very welcome, warm and clean...We stayed for Lunch the next day too, and the Roast Beef dinner was what you want from traditional rustic simply wonderful food...we are going to be coming here much more often...Recommended!
