¡Es una de las verdaderas gemas escondidas en Londres! Me encantaron las bebidas, el ambiente y el servicio. ¡Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera!

Firstly, the service was perfect. As soon as we (me and my mum) walked in, we were met by very polite and friendly staff. Wait times throughout the meal were reasonable. My starter, the ‘pan tumaca’ was delicious, with the tomato and garlic sauce tasting perfect. However, my drink, the Virgin Piña Colada only had a very slight pineapple taste and tasted like it was a coconut mock tail. Our main, the Latin House paella was scrumptious (apart from the prawns which tasted a bit weird and the chicken wings which were under seasoned). The rice, with a truly authentic flavour, tasted superb. However, this paella was significantly overpriced with £17.90 per person (2 people) being charged. But finally, our desserts were amazing. My dessert, the chocolate and banana crêpe tasted impeccable (albeit after asking for additional chocolate sauce). My mum’s dessert, 3 churros with a milk chocolate sauce was divine. The churros were crunchy in the outside with just the right amount of sugar. I would definitely recommend eating here for a lovely Spanish food experience but please avoid the paellas as even though they are delicious, they are significantly overpriced. Also, please keep in mind that even though Latin House is quite an expensive place to eat, you will get a lot for the money you pay.

Absolutely dreadful, and it pains me saying this. Always support local businesses, but tonight was a pizza too far. Avoid

We were really to excited to try the Bear as we had experienced the chefs food a number of times while they were at Naughty Piglets. We went for Sunday roast to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. We had the burrata, cod roes and beetroot salad to start which were delicious. But the roasts were way below average - both the beef and the porchetta were not just rare but almost still moo-ing/squealing. Preference should have been asked if serving so rare. There was no Yorkshire pudding!!!! There was no roast potatoes but they served skin on fried potatoes which were bland and didn’t offer the absorbency a roast potato would provide with gravy. We were also served a savoy cabbage which was just a soggy mess and lacking flavour except for the two outside leaves. The French beans were delightful though. So a very hit and miss food experience. Apart from the food the venue set up was weird. With tables crowding into one third of the bar and the rest of the bar empty. I hope this is all teething problems of a new venue and they can get resolved. We tried providing feedback directly to the restaurant through Instagram as we would like to see a new venue succeed. But heard nothing back.

From the outside Grinders looks like a nice family owned cafe where you'd expect personal service and nice home cooked food. This is a facade. No one even acknowledged me when I came in making me think they were actually closed. I was eventually told to sit down. I asked what came in the meal deal and was treated like an idiot for not knowing - when my burrito came it was predictable awful and the nachos side was just some doritoes and some microwaved plasticy cheese in a pot. I then asked for a drink (which came with the meal deal) and they gave me a warm can of tango. I was actually laughing to myself at how bad it all was, as the staff were just lounging around and chatting with each other, barely acknowledging the customers. It almost felt like a front for something else!
