My husband was struggling with ideas for my birthday during these restricted times, so we were so pleased to find that Sugar and Spice were offering takeaway! The waffles were delicious, really buttery and sweet served with loads of fresh strawberries, sauces and really lovely ice cream. This is a great place, would highly recommend trying it out, great value and quality food.

Great for a late night dance and the staff work hard and do a great job. Very busy on the Saturday night that I went and the staff were quick and perceptive, so everyone got served in the correct order and fast, so thanks for making it a pleasant evening and keep up the good work

Sam’s is a godsend. An old school cafe just like they used to be. Sam and the staff are welcoming, as is the decor. The food is simple fare but with healthy and interesting options. I like the fact that food is prepared in view. This is a real local establishment. Highly recommended.

FABULOUS! We were visiting Ely for the first time and getting a bit peckish! Walked through the market and stumbled across this place. Outside seating was full so we asked for takeaway. The young man serving was polite and welcoming. We ordered two bagels - Nordic and The pastrami one (whose name I’ve forgotten). They came beautifully presented in Eco friendly boxes with compostable cutlery etc, fresh and delicious garnish of salad plus a few crisps. I work in hospitality, often judging chefs, and these guys are awesome. The ingredients were of high quality and a simple Bagel was delivered with perfection! THANK YOU 🙏

Fabulous find. Lovely food all fresh and no additives. Great coffee Smashing staff and service . Perhaps some would say expensive but you get what you pay for . Rather pay extra for good service and ambience and lovely artisan food. Third visit and will certainly return

Best pub in Henham by far! Great selection of beers and about 50 Whiskies from around the world. Highly recommend! Great tunes in the jukebox, great dartboard and the list goes on.

The horse box diner catered for my wedding reception in August. The communication with Andrés was brill from day one. He helped me sort the right food option for the number of guests attending. On the day they arrived early and ready to set up. We had many people complement the horse box.... now the food! The burgers were A M A Z I N G! Everyone enjoyed their burgers, fries and the sides! The portion was just the right size after eating earlier in the day. We had beef and vegetarian options which we had really great feed back about both. Thank you so much for catering our wedding. Definitely recommend 👍🏻 The service was brilliant from start to finish even on the hottest day of the year! Thank you.

Lovely cafe in Stevenage Old Town amazing food that is very fresh and very friendly staff I would highly recommend a visit there.

Lovely cafe with friendly staff and delicious food and coffee. Seating inside and outside. Breakfast, brunch and lunch with a healthy emphasis and a bit of effort put in to make the dish special. You can also get sausage/bacon rolls and similar if you like. The cakes looked amazing but I was too full up to try one. Really good vegan and gluten-free options.

We had a table of 8 for my 70th Birthday celebrations and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. I was a little apprehensive but as soon as I met Katherine (Owner) prior to our booking i was immediately drawn to the place. In regard to the food everything I ask for came out onto the table the food was amazing it was so delicious. We chose a Meze starter followed by Salmon, Shish Chicken and Lamb Skewers with the most delicious salads and vegetables and flat breads to die for, we also had Gorgeous Pavlova and a very varied Cheese Board for dessert the presentation was lovely, I honestly think Katherine old mke a boiled egg look pretty. Our food was served by Peter who assisted Catherine and he makes a very good Waiter. There was nothing we could fault and we definitely will be returning hopefully in the not too distant future. Donna and her team make the best poached eggs on toast in town. The coffee is delicious, with hot milk, and you’re offered a top-up just at the right time. Best of all is the atmosphere, with cherry music playing, the friendly chat and listening ear, and being looked after by lovely, genuine people. Donna is moving on to focus on her catering business ‘Newman’s’ (on Facebook) I wish her luck. She and her team made this the best cafe in town, and made a real difference to Maldon.

Great couples bar - landlady is very friendly does great tricks with beer mats and corkscrew - never seen anything like it

What a lovely little find. Visiting Colchester from Ipswich with my daughter and wanted a hot drink and a snack. We were wandering around and found this little gem. Small cafe. On sitting down we glanced at other tables and their food and we were tempted to rather than buy a sandwich or toastie we both had cheesy chilli jacket potatoes served with a little bowl of dressed salad and coleslaw. The service was both quick and friendly. The place had a nice relaxing atmosphere and some of the customers seemed to know the staff so it seems like they have returning customers. They also did a nice pot of tea.
