21/11/2019: Have been twice now was ok first time, meal a bit tepid but went back but this meal was awful, starter of hummus was great but main was tepid and cold, raw potatoes and the haddock full of bones, they did offer to replace but really didn't fancy it..the meal shouldn't have left the kitchen, and raw spuds in excusable...disappointed as lovely space.
21/11/2019: The restaurant was great, food was absolutely delicious with a great selection and child friendly staff were very helpful & accomodating

Casablanca

Aberystwyth Canol/Central, Ceredigion
05/12/2019: This was my wife’s choice to eat here though I was happy to dine here too the chef and staff were very friendly but this place was not to my taste I found the place to dark the music annoying and don’t think we got value for money having more salad than meat on my plate sad to say I think this visit will be a one off also there didn’t seem to be any heating on which in November made it a bit chilly.
03/12/2019: I was really hoping for a Tagine to die for but instead I got lamb that was soft but so dry it was like eating sawdust. Far too many Dates in the sauce so it was too sweet and all you could taste was Dates. And what was all that salad? It didn't compliment the dish in anyway, tomatoes weren't properly ripened, grated carrots?

Cygnet Restaurant at The Swan Hotel

Hay, Powys, 30-45£
14/09/2019: I came here to host my local management team and had dinner at the Swan. The bar is really nice and has a nice selection of beers and wines. We sat in a private room but the lighting in th room was very dark. I ordered the lamb spring roll and the ribeye main, both were not good. The spring roll was very dry and the steak was served cold. To their credit they didn’t charge me for the steak. The dessert was actually very good, so next time it will be beer and dessert.
17/06/2019: We were told by a local it was a good place to eat. We booked for 5 in the bar and they put us in the restaurant with lovely garden views. The food was delicious and fairly priced. Loved the Lamb and Feta with roasties.
