The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in Tandridge South East

Unbelievable!!! Nicola and the whole Zilli family were able to assist in a special surprise birthday for my wife (at short notice as well) where she went incredibly out of her way to ensure the evening was great for all of us. The care and attention to detail and assistance throughout in setting everything up for the evening was amazing. Add all of that to the food which as usual was delicious at every bite and it’s hard to think of going anywhere else (or in this case having them come to us) for an amazing family/special night! I will always recommend Casa Zilli for any occasion and cannot say thank you enough.

We visited a few weeks after they first opened. Food was fantastic but service was shocking. We decided to try again as they are now an established restaurant with good reviews. The staff were initially welcoming, however, not observant. We ordered a bottle of wine for 3 people, but were only given 2 glasses. Likewise, we asked for a jug of water and was only given a jug and one glass. This was eventually rectified and we ordered our food. Starters were ok, the filo cheese pastry parcels were nice as was the calamari (although small portions). My husband’s 4 nachos with beef were very dry and not as flavoursome as described. Our starters were cleared and only my husband’s cutlery was replaced. The mains were very disappointing… lobster Mac & cheese very overrated. 3 pieces of lobster at the most, lots of Mac and cheese in fairness, just no flavour. I had the Wagyu burger which was worse than a cheap nightclub burger van burger! My daughter’s chicken kebab was tasty, but only 5 small pieces of chicken, no check back during the meal at all. We asked for the bill and were not asked how the meal was, or offered desserts/coffee. Received the bill with service charge included. Unfortunately, we asked for the service charge to be removed as we didn’t feel that the service received deserved any recognition or payment. We were really hoping for more but left deflated and disappointed.
