We have ordered takeaway a few times from Nigiri and the food is great. Well packaged and tasty. Having had the "real deal" in Singapore / Japan, this is pretty close to the mark. I am not a fan of Japanese style rice, but I am reliably informed that the chicken Katsu is top notch. We have sampled several of the appetisers (my preference) and can recommend the pork and the chicken gyozas (5 pieces in each). The prawn and chicken tempura is also lovely. We also tried the "loaded fries" and that is a meal in its own right! Lastly, some of the sushi was sampled and the California roll was superb. We had an issue with an order placed due to a systems glitch. You can tell the service when things go wrong - not when they always go right. Linda was very apologetic about the issue and it was rectified and we got a complimentary order as an apology. Nigiri is one of our regular places and we look forward to trying the rest of the menu ! It's great to see something other than pizza / fish and chip places. A good variety in the area is much appreciated.

I had a fantastic experience at Kokoro Glasgow! Among all the top-rated restaurants I’ve tried in the city, this one truly stands out. The food is absolutely delicious, and the restaurant maintains a high level of cleanliness and efficiency. A special thanks to Mitra for their excellent service—it made the visit even better! She was welcoming and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience. The menu offers a great selection of vegetarian options. The fresh sushi and katsu salad were both exceptional—flavorful and perfectly portioned for a satisfying meal. Highly recommend Kokoro Glasgow for anyone looking for tasty Japanese food with great service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Very happy that the Bibimbap is back!! That being said we have always had a lovely experience dining here. There are more options now than a year ago also. When we takeaway, the food is always fresh and full of flavour - might need a bit of a moment in the microwave with hot items but that doesn’t make a difference. The staff are lovely, options are great and we come back for more!

The venue is lovely, it's decorated really nicely to look like a Japanese street which is probably the draw in for a lot of people but unfortunately that's the only thing I'd rate. The food was horrible and left me ill. I had the pork ramen, the pork was 95% fat, the noodles had zero flavour to them, the seaweed was just drenched in fish oil to the point it was inedible. It was the soft boiled egg that made me physically sick though, I'm assuming they were off. The fries were okay but we're served stone cold, the service in general wasn't great, it was very slow and all members of staff looked as if they'd rather be anywhere but there which is probably fair as I definitely won't be back by choice.
