The best restaurants serving Japanese food in North West

Best spot for sushi take out in the Bolton area. Ive been going for years now and it's always been fantastic. It is tiny inside to eat in and doesn't look like much from the outside but it's truly amazing . It's well worth the drive from Darwen. The sushi is freshly made to order and the fish used is very fresh. The prawn katsu is phenomenal and the portions are generous.

Very sorry that Mag has retired. But not to despair. It's replacement in the shape of Nishi Sushi is at leasst as good. Nishi Sushi is more too than just a great place for sushi. A wide range of delicious starters and mains options besides sushi. Veggies well-catered for.

Came to get some food with my family. Staff was really friendly and the food was brilliant. Definitely be coming back. 100% recommend!!

La comida valió hasta la última calórica no dietética. i s**t you not , es una de las mejores comidas que hemos probado. Hacen su propio helado en casa (era una especialidad helado filipino hecho con ñames morados) , todo se presentó tan maravillosamente y el servicio era absolutamente de primera categoría. Es básicamente una comida para llevar con cinco o seis mesas (está muy bien decorado y muy limpio), pero por favor no dejes que eso te distraiga de probarlo, si alguna vez te encuentras de esa manera. Te encantará este lugar 😍

6 of us visited midweek for the first time and it was amazing. I think we ordered pretty much everything on the menu! Every single thing was fresh, super tasty and we all can’t wait to go back. It walks all over similar places in Manchester City Centre. Would highly recommend.

I had Nishi Special & Tuna Nigiri. Amazing, so Fresh & tasty. Highly Recommend for Sushi lovers, and also there are many choices for someone likes cooked light meal - Katsu Donburi, Teriyaki Donburi..etc.

Really cute little gift shop cafe combo. Home decor, gift items, and greeting cards. There is a small dining area for enjoying many kinds of tea, coffee, and soft drinks. Freshly made sweet or savoury crepes are wonderful. Best of all are the very nice people who run the place. Do give it a try.

Amazing place with excellent food and great staff

Auradaze was an incredible restaurant. Darren and Laura just amazing hosts. The food was incredible and a great selection! The atmosphere was so homely. We couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Thank you very much!

Overpriced and very average customer service. The food was okay but £20 for 10 pieces of sushi is really quite pricey and you can’t mix & match either. The service wasn’t great, my food came about 10 minutes before my friends and when we asked where it was she explained it had to be fried but gave no apology for the delay. The sushi itself was nice, the togarashi fries were very disappointing. Overall it was ok, I wouldn’t return as I think it’s very overpriced for what it is and I’ve had better sushi elsewhere.
