The best restaurants serving Japanese food in Southend-on-Sea East of England

Ordered sushi from Toro 4-5 times now, each time it's well packaged, fresh and really tasty. The vegan options are great, with quite a few different selections. Love it, it's my go to place for sushi delivery.

I am an avid fan of Japanese food, and the UK unfortunately runs short of good restaurants. Fujimoto however, is one of the rare few that sits in my top list and I will absolutely be returning in a short time for another dose of their Fujimoto Ramen. Highly recommend this amazing little restaurant with its peaceful setting, attentive staff and wonderful menu to give you a memorable night out. I highly recommend the Chicken Katsu, braised pork belly, their ramen and the very hard to find black sesame ice cream for dessert. Thank you Fujimoto. See you again very soon!!

Was delivery, food was cold and was completely ignored by the restaurant after I emailed them. Sent out 2 deliveries with same driver mine took over 30min to arrive

Absolutely amazing food. Fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. Friendly service in a comfortable environment. Will definitely be back.
