The best restaurants serving Italian food in Aberdeen City North East Scotland

Stayed in hotel from Saturday 27th till Tuesday 30th. Rooms were very clean and bed was excellent. All staff were very pleasant and well mannered,and went over and above to make the stay very pleasurable. Food in restaurant was excellent and even cooked a dish not on menu for me to try.

Nicely located near my hotel.the food was excellent and the service was very nicely done.Well worth a visit.

If you want some time to relax for talking with friends I will recommend this place! It is very nice! The music is wonderfully selected and the coffee it's so tasty! You should try !

Finally got to go after three trips to Aberdeen and literally across the road from my hotel. I’ll be honest, it looked kind of bohemian and not my scene as an uncouth oilman. I was worried they didn’t even serve alcohol. Finally Jan 25 I rocked in after perusing the menu - they give you a laminated card and you mark with a dry erase marker what your order is. I was warmly greeted and shown a table and given a recycled gin bottle of water. I tried the calamari and patatas bravas. Both can quickly and piping hot. The patatas was drizzled in a wonderful romesca sauce apparently made with tomatoes from Italy. The calamari was crispy and tender and the sauce was subtle. For my main (I totally overordered - if you’re alone have one small plate and and main. Or 3-4 small plates. You WILL be full) I had the Mama special lamb on risotto. The rice was perfectly cooked - not too sloppy and a great bite. The lamb was divine, tender, lean, and full of spices without being hot. The added chick peas were a delightful surprise. Had a French 75, A cosmopolitan (one of the best I’ve ever had) and a dirty martini. All excellent made by the incomparable Kaitlyn.

It was great. The lamb chops were fantastic.

Lovely family atmosphere, with amazing food. The best bruschetta ever, still to be beaten by anywhere else.

I Highly recommend! Staff were lovely but the food was to die for!

Acabo de almorzar en Rustico - 3 platos por £ 14. 50 . Comida deliciosa, servicio rápido por un equipo joven y amable para quien nada era demasiado problema! Gran ambiente y una experiencia muy agradable. Volveremos.

We looked at the reviews and booked. Welcomed into restaurant and given menus and asked for drinks order. I went rogue and didn’t ask for gluten free anything as wanted to taste the Italian bread. I had a huge salad along with two rolls ( looked like French petit baguettes?) . I don’t think they were Italian bread, as advertised! Husband had garlic prawns-very tasty he said. I had penne arrabbiata and husband had lasagne and chips. The food was delicious and we were stuffed. The only negative was the coldness of restaurant- we were at the window but the place was cold.

This was my first visit here, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amazing food, full of flavour! Cant recommended this place enough. The bar man Bert was amazing at creating lovley cocktails, and friendly customer service. 🙌
