The best restaurants serving Italian food in Linlithgow West Lothian Edinburgh and Lothian

Been along to bar Leo a few times and has always been great food . It was always my favourite place for food . Yesterday we went and the food was cold when arriving and was sent back . Am vey disappointed in my food yesterday . It was stated it was a birthday no one said happy birthday either . Tryed to email and the email address is not the right one . A don’t think it’s value for money now to be honest very disappointed to be honest

My son and I visited for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, we both had the veal saltimbocca which was excellent. The service from the two gentlemen however was not, it was rude, impersonal and impatient and only got worse after we paid our bill, which we had not asked for and which included a 10% service charge. This place would be greatly improved if they employed front of house staff with hospitality skills. We will not be back.

Honestly, I’ve had better takeaway pizza from Dominos for about the same price. Toppings were so uneven and all over the place, base a soggy mess and for some reason the extra Parmesan I asked for was in uneven chunks rather than grated like you’d usually expect. Also had to wait somewhat longer than the expected collection time. Not the first time this place has failed to live up to expectations, I’m gonna pass on them in future.
