The best restaurants serving Italian food in Richmondshire Yorkshire and The Humber

We have had food from Andersons 3 times, the food has been excellent everytime. Last time I had a vegan pizza - best pizza I've had in a long time.

We booked day of for 6 people and they were able to accommodate this. Restaurant is deceptively bigger than it looks from the outside. The menu was extensive which lots of choices for people who like pizza, pasta, risotto, seafood, steak, chicken and even burgers. We ordered a variety of starters, pasta dishes and risottos. The food was delicious and plentiful leaving us too full to try their variety of desserts. Cocktails were large and reasonably priced . Overall a great restaurant if you’re looking for an Italian in Richmond.

Stopped in on the off chance before we went to the cinema. 2 starters, 2 pizzas, side order of chips, Coke and a bottle of perroni....£29! The pizzas were lovely and a real nice place to sit. Thoroughly recommend to get a bite before the cinema

Just been to this restaurant and I was disgusted. Service wasn't great to start with but I can let that go when it's busy. Ordered the Tortellini Di Pollo as I'm pretty boring and always order a carbonara. Started eating the pasta and straight away realised that it was shop bought. Not being sure I asked at the front desk only to be told that they don't have enough prep time to make fresh pasta (In an Italian restaurant) and that they buy it in. Why would I want to go to a restaurant, to have shop bought rubbish that tasted awful. When I confronted the waitress about it she told me that no Italian restaurant will sell fresh pasta in Richmond and argued with me about it. I am absolutely disgusted.

Dined here a couple of times before, normally great.. Although the food was good again, my poor review is based on the very poor ( and what i consider deliberate) service.. it was quite obvious a member of staff was going out if her way to make my experience a bad one.. Wont be going back…
