The best restaurants serving Indian food in Crowthorne Bracknell Forest South East

Had a mixed starter to start, tiniest Somosa and onion bajee , but the main concern was the tandoori chicken which was tough and chewy small chunks of chicken which looked more like floor sweepings. Spending almost an hour on the toilet this morning is cementing my decision never to go back or recommend.

Initially, they confirmed a reservation for our family of six but emphasized the necessity of an appointment and the restriction on bringing a dog due to potential inconvenience to other guests. Upon our arrival, we were the sole patrons during the entire three-hour visit, with no other customers even for takeout. The waiter's discourteous request for us to write down our own orders set a perplexing tone. The subsequent delays in delivering lukewarm dishes, particularly the excessively chewy and artificially colored chicken tikka, further marred our dining experience. All our ordered curries, apart from the Dal tadka, unexpectedly had a sweet flavor. Compounding the issue, the same individual served as both receptionist and waiter, displaying a lack of responsiveness to our needs. We had to approach him for basic requests such as additional cutlery and drinking water. His constant cellphone use demonstrated a lack of professionalism. Upon settling the bill, the waiter refused to provide a physical copy, citing a peculiar policy. Despite my insistence on its necessity, he directed me to email or physically visit for a receipt, leaving me puzzled. In summary, as a dedicated food enthusiast, this stands as my most unsatisfactory restaurant experience to date. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this establishment, particularly if expecting authentic Indian cuisine, as it specializes in Bangladeshi dishes.

This is the resturant that really introduced me to Indian food. High quality, with a wide range of choices. Catering for those who like their food hot or mild. The service is always excellent, the food nicely presented, and it reaches your table quickly. You are looked after there and consequently it is well known and vibrant.
