The best restaurants serving Greek food in South East

Once again another superb meal at the Creta when we visited on Wednesday night (7pm - We’d 6 Nov) with our local friends Frank & Kathy., who recommended it. This our 2nd meal there was just as good as the first, lovely atmosphere and staff with delicious food and drink. Thanks

Absolutely stunning!! If you close your eyes you could almost be eating in a taverna in Greece! The staff were lovely, the restaurant was immaculately clean and the food was delicious. Great value for money, authentic & cooked very well - a must try!

We shared the selection of mezze (starters), which was delicious. The mixed souvlaki was great, and the grilled prawns were too. The homemade baklava was (as it should be) extremely sweet and outstanding. We will return!

A wonderful welcome and all the staff were lovely. We shared the meat Meze which was so good. The meat was perfect, tender, chargrilled and plentiful, especially loved the lamb chops. You won’t go hungry here and we took some home with us. Roast potatoes and roasted veg were great. We will go again and try the desserts too. So glad I live close by.

First time here and honestly the food was 5* and I took my daughter and they where all so accommodating, they made my child a very small child portion because she isn't a big eater and gave her a lollie after and offered apple juice on the house. If you love Greek food I would 100% recommend Thankyou for a lovely dinner

This was a fairly new restaurant in our area so we left it for about 6 weeks before booking a table just so that they can iron out any wrinkles and get themselves established. A Greek restaurant is always of interest to us and we couldn’t wait to eat there, we called them around mid June 2023 on a Friday eve to check for availability for a couples table… No answer, we kept trying but nobody answered so we went elsewhere. This happened again the following week so I popped my head in on a Saturday afternoon to see if they were open to which a staff member said that they were. We tried again in mid July and got a Friday Eve table for 8pm. I took these pics at 8.45pm on a Friday evening.. it was empty apart from another couple, most of the wine was not available from the wine list and the food was well below average for Greek Cuisine.

Great fresh food and the service was great too - would recommend.
