The best restaurants serving Greek food in South East

Once again another superb meal at the Creta when we visited on Wednesday night (7pm - We’d 6 Nov) with our local friends Frank & Kathy., who recommended it. This our 2nd meal there was just as good as the first, lovely atmosphere and staff with delicious food and drink. Thanks

Perfect Greek cuisine was mouth watering just to look at! Came fast with delivery and was still hot when it fell on our plates. Takes you back to Greece!

Absolutely stunning!! If you close your eyes you could almost be eating in a taverna in Greece! The staff were lovely, the restaurant was immaculately clean and the food was delicious. Great value for money, authentic & cooked very well - a must try!

We ordered through deliveroo. Been looking for proper pork gyros for a while in Southampton. So glad we took a chance on Miss Pita. Reminded me of why I love Greece. 😍

A solid 5 stars without a doubt ! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic Greek flavors. From the classic moussaka to the perfectly grilled souvlaki, every bite transported me to the streets of Athens. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident. Opaaa

My husband & I have been coming here for a few years on our own & with family or friends & had always found it a pleasant experience with great food & coffee & staff.we haven't been for a few months & were surprised how the menu had changed & also the prices & portion sizes & lack of availability on dishes & got the order wrong + advertising something with a ingredient on it & wasn't we asked the assistant who served us & she said that's on the menu which clearly is wasn't as not on my plate she had no idea of the menu & was very surly & to be honest cldnt care less attitude was experienced.plus she stood staring at my grandchildren which made them uncomfortable. I'm afraid we won't be returning. It was very quiet in there which normal that time of day it's usually busy which makes me think other people are feeling this as well.

This was a fairly new restaurant in our area so we left it for about 6 weeks before booking a table just so that they can iron out any wrinkles and get themselves established. A Greek restaurant is always of interest to us and we couldn’t wait to eat there, we called them around mid June 2023 on a Friday eve to check for availability for a couples table… No answer, we kept trying but nobody answered so we went elsewhere. This happened again the following week so I popped my head in on a Saturday afternoon to see if they were open to which a staff member said that they were. We tried again in mid July and got a Friday Eve table for 8pm. I took these pics at 8.45pm on a Friday evening.. it was empty apart from another couple, most of the wine was not available from the wine list and the food was well below average for Greek Cuisine.
