Amazing food the chef was excellent and very polite

Food is great and staff is lovely, perfect for a quick meal and something better than the tratitional fried fast food. We dined in. Would have been a 5 star across the board for a fast food but we came in an empty service area with all tables free and 3 of them ( including the one we sat down at) were not cleared after previous cuatomers ate there.

This WAS one of my favourite take aways however we ordered our usual to be delivered on 14/03/24 and it arrived with RAW kofte, I didn’t realise until I’d already eaten two as it was dark and wasn’t until my partner turned on the light. I was vomiting with diahhohrea and fever for days !! My partner emailed them that evening and NO REPLY we just want a refund . If you order from here definetly check it’s cooked. Please can we be contacted regarding a refund .

My favourite place in Eastbourne! Since coming back from Greece, I've been fancying Chicken Gyros. The first time I came here, they didn't have any chicken gyros, as they were all sold out. So, I went for their chicken Souvlaki and it didn't disappoint at all. It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was succulent and well marinated and not to mention the fries, it's out of this world! 😋 Even my fussy daughter loved it. Place is nice, clean and quite cozy. The people who works there are really lovely! They're so kind, but then again, they're Greek! 😄❤️ I'll definitely be back again!

WOW the most amazing food we have ever had in a Greek fast food establishment. We were going for a take away but decided to eat in and so glad we did. Hubby had a pork gyros and it was served with Greek bread sliced in quarters with salad, chips and tzatziki. I had chicken souvlaki (3 skewers) and served with the same sides as the gyros. The chicken was so tasty and tender. I cannot remember the last one I had that was as nice and we go to Greece on holiday every year. Hubby said we will have to spend more weekends in Eastbourne just to visit Kostas.

Absolutely amazing Food, so tasty, chicken is perfect. Close my eyes and I'm in Greece. Better than GREat.

Lovely food great sized portions good value for money

Impromptu visit for a Greek style meal. The pork gyros meal was really good. We can not recommend this enough.

This is the best restaurant in Eastbourne. Really friendly staff excellent food. Absolutely perfect. I come here often for chicken sticks in a box and humous and have never had a bad experience The lady and man are very kind I recommend to all. People should use cash it’s our currency .. covid tried to stop all of that Thanks for such nice food

I walked into this place almost by accident. It was mostly empty, which put me off, but a lot of places were closed at the time, so I went in anyway. I was not ready for the delicious food that followed... I got a HUGE plate for a very reasonable price, and it came just as soon as I'd properly sat down! It was by far the most delicious Greek food I've had in a long time. In fact, I used to avoid Greek places because of some bad experiences in the past, but Kostas has really changed my view. And I'm sure I wasn't the only one, because the place filled up by the time I was done eating, and people were queueing outside! If you're in the area, don't miss this wonderful place!

Fantastic place! Visited with my dog while on holiday and ordered a kebab and Dog got a sausage, which he loved! My kebab was delicious, one of the best kebabs I've ever had different to the norm and the chilli 🌶 sauce very nice and a kick to it which I like! Great flavour!! will be back possibly tomorrow! :) Great service and atmosphere!

The place, the people, the food as good, as can be. Consistency is the biggest challenge in hospitality. Kostas never had problem with that. The quality of the food, so the service, always remains the same. They deserve our highest recommendation. Well done Kostas!❤️👍🤙😊

Whilst this most impressive restaurant hides behind its other business as a take away, make no mistake, the food here to eat in, is execptionally good. This evening with colleagues had a variety of shared starters, but was bowled over by the Bougiordi. My mains was the lamb chops, which turned out to be cooked on a fire, and were exceptionally tasty, as good or better than I would make myself, served with mountains of fries, pitta bread and salad, with excellent tzadziki. Can't wait to get back again. Do yourself a favour, if ever in Eastbourn, treat yourself to the wonderful tastes of Kostas!

The best Greek salad I have eaten in the uk, the best place to eat in Eastbourne, the place is spotless. So glad we found it.

Went on an early Saturday evening .. sat in to eat .. amazing food .. amazing wine and AMAZING staff ..! Thanks for making the start of our evening out so nice.

The freshest Souvlaki and Gyros. Attentive and friendly service. Dined here with wife and sister, at my sisters recommendation. The food was all freshly prepared and tasted amazing. The food was very good value bearing in mind the quality and amount provided. I am sure no one leaves here hungry. My only complaint is that we need more tables so I can be guaranteed a seat on my next visit!

Visited here last night and it was my 1st experience of Greek gyros and all I can say is wow wow wow . A must visit if you are in Eastbourne and all the staff are so friendly 5* A+ I could not recommend Kostas higher x

Fantastic place and great service. We visited this restaurant following very good opinions and we were nicely surprised with high food quality and plenty of different Greek dishes to pick. What is made a different at this place to others similars, it is the attention of all staff, they are really focus in trying to give you a unique service. Also food was very tasty, freshly made in large portions. We were satisfied with our choices. Nice place to visit again.

I have traveled this country from top to bottom! What I can tell you is that this restaurant has THE BEST gyros in the country! Sit down, have the main meal, soak up the friendly atmosphere and enjoy the sublime food. It’s a shame that Google only allows 5 stars as this restaurant deserves so very much more.

What a fantastic place, authentic Greek restaurant. Our party of 6 sat in and had a meal which was very tasty, and the Greek wine which was recommended was very nice indeed. My father has been unwell and missing his trips to Greece, so we hoped this would be a nice treat for him. It was easy to look at the painting of Santorini and imagine that we were in Greece. Staff very friendly, the Gent behind the counter kindly promised to protect my Dads mobility scooter whilst we ate and all the other staff were warm and friendly. Thank-you so much for a lovely treat! Definitely recommend if you like authentic Greece.

Totally amazed with the food. It was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. The lady servicing was extremely pleasant and was extremely helpful towards my friends dietary needs. I'll definitely be visiting here again

Small greek "fast food". A lot of people come here and take food away. We sat inside and had incredible experience. Really delicious food, taste like in greek, large portions at a esonable price and very friendly service. One of the "must see and taste" places!

Very nice place, looks like family owned The menu might seem not too much sophisticated at first, but the food is fantastically fresh and delicious from the first bite. We tried fried courgettes, tzatziki, chicken souvlaki (main), all - highly recommend.

Had a great meal here with my 2 kids. Really delicious food. Fantastic Greek salad and Gyros. Kids devoured their meal and were very happy.

I love the place it was so good food and you got a lot you got chips, salad, bread and your meat. The service was great, you felt special being there. I arrived in Eastbourne and explored the town for somewhere to eat in. Being a single, older person and vegetarian I found it very difficult to locate somewhere. I then found Kostas. The food was freshly prepared and served with a smile. Just what I needed. Thank you.

Update* they fixed the online ordering issue 😁 Food is really good. Shame that even though we're in Eastbourne (Langley) we can't order delivery now as the website (which is terrible and glitchy) says they now dont deliver to our postcode. So unfortunately after a few years of ordering from here we now go elsewhere.

Lovely fresh food! Had the chicken gyros main meal and it was a really decent sized portion...I wasn't sure if I'd finish it at one point! Beautiful dish and we couldn't get enough of the homemade tzatziki 🤩 Would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything about Kostas was amazing! The food was so lovely, I got the chicken gyros, the chicken was so tender and tasty as was everything else, also the homemade tzatziki was so lovely! I can’t recommend the food more!! Also the service was amazing, such lovely people that own and run it, you can tell that so much care goes into it all! We ate in and it’s a lovely vibe and place to a sit and eat. Just a brilliant place with amazing Greek food! I highly recommend it!

Wandered in here with no expectations and were very pleased with the reasonably priced lunch. The place was very clean and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The food was all prepared to order and tasted amazing. Loved all the extra flavours you could add if you wanted to. I actually tried the gyros my partner had...and I normally avoid this! Very deceiving from the front but well worth a better look. This is not just a takeaway but offer seating and table service. Staff are very nice and friendly, the food is amazing. Amenities are extremely clean and tidy. Somewhere I'll repeatedly go back to.

Best greek Street for I have had outside of Greece

Costas is one of those magical places, that proves that you don't need a big fancy place to eat well. On the main street with four tables they make wonders, exquisite food and nice service. A place to definitely add to my list! Not even in London I've eaten such good food... Undoubtedly took my back to my travels in Greece.

I thought this place was just a kebab shop but we got a table on a recommendation from a Greek friend and had some of the best Greek food we have ever eaten. The pork souvlaki was the best I have ever had. On top of this the service was fantastic and friendly.

Quite simply the best food! The chef is an artist, they way he puts the food together is a thing of true beauty and only adds to the experience. The best Greek food outside of Athens? Perhaps. I love, love, love this place. The food is incredible and the people humble, friendly and authentic. 🙏🏻

Kostas is a nice place! I really like their food and it’s not expensive! It’s vegetarian friendly and they always try to meet your needs. I’ve been there a couple of time and each time I was satisfied! I would suggest you to go there if you are looking for something quick but also if you like enjoy your dinner and relaxing with your family. I love their sharing plates with all the delicious sauces and my favorite was the salad with feta and beetroot! Soo good!

Best costumer service I’ve ever gotten in my life. We had the Philadelphia kebabs, and the dips were banging. Even the water had authentic greek taste. Best Greek food ever had, definitely recommended

We had a fantastic meal whilst visiting Eastbourne. All the food we had was delicious and homemade. The baklava was the best I’d had and everything felt so authentic. The best thing was the super friendly and welcoming service. The lady serving us was so warm and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Mist first kostas experience. Genuinely nice people super friendly and great service. Had some chicken and pork gyros Greek sausage with feta sauce and my wife had pork gyrs wrap with halloumi. All amazing, tastiest take away iv had for a long time and easily the best takeaway in eastbourne.

Visited Eastbourne with my partner for a day trip and were lucky we chose Kostas restaurant to have our lunch in. Food was generous, authentic and full of flavours. In restaurant you can also buy Greek wine, sweets, olive oil etc. Would definitely return.

Our family each had souvlaki for lunch today. It was really nice and we all enjoyed it on the beach. The staff were lovely and helpful. We look forward to eating from there again.
