So refreshing to have a authentic jaapanese restaurant on pur doorstep.

Great. Yes it's a little bit pricey but the service and food is exquisite. I was there for a birthday, they must of overheard and gave us a free little cake and celebration. Never told them it was a birthday party, great to see them care about their business.

Ate here last sitting probably, we were the only two people in the place. Staff were amazing though, didn't rush us and were happy when we ordered a couple of more drinks despite the fact it was very near closing time. If they felt any way about that you could never tell. Staff definitely the star of the show here!... 🌟

Absolutely beautiful food. Sushi and sashimi tasted super fresh and tasty and the teriyaki and tempura we had was hot and delicious. Will definitely come back.

It was empty when we arrived, still the food and service were great. The glass of water was refilled constantly, needed for the salty food.

Very nice dinner here. Very fresh, tasty food, nice staff and clean premises. We had 6 dishes and ordered extras of 2 just to fill the corners! 2 beers and 2 wines and was very surprised how reasonable it was.

We had a lovely lunch here on a rainy Sunday. The place was big and wasn’t full that afternoon. But the service was good and the food was lovely. We had a mixture of starters and mains. All of it was delicious. When I go back to Eastbourne again I will definitely go again.

I was absolutely delighted with my visit to Yoku Sushi. The food is incredibly delicious—by far the best I’ve found in Eastbourne, and I’ve been living here for several years now. The sushi is amazing, the soup Ramen are absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend!

I like to order eel rice bowl almost every time and I like green mochi the most. My husband ordered ramen, everything was delicious. The hot green tea was very tasty.

Whether it's the fresh and flavourful Green Dragon Rolls or the unbeatable Chicken Katsu Curry, the food is consistently incredible. The sushi is hands down the best in Eastbourne, and we always look forward to discovering something new on the menu each time we visit. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with super friendly staff who always make us feel like family. After so many visits, it’s become a tradition for my husband and me to come here every weekend. This place is a true gem in Eastbourne!

When in Eastbourne...eat Japanese food..😀👍!! It's a very good find after getting to Eastbourne late (thank you for nothing, M25). In a back street away from the sea front. Friendly, lovely service. The food didn't take long and it was fresh, tasty and hit the spot after a long drive. Great food!!

Our absolute favourite Japanese restuarant and we are very fussy about where we eat. Love this place and have been going here for years now. Outstanding food and a warm and friendly service.

On a few days hols in Eastbourne and found this restaurant whilst walking. Really friendly service, good variety menu and fresh tasty sushi and sashimi. Presented well too. Lovely to find a Japanese place on the coast. Would definitely recommend and visit again if we were to come back.

Had another pleasant evening with lovely food. Service is also great. Don’t be put off by the less than inspiring neighbourhood.

Best of Eastbourne! Yoku Sushi never fails to astound with explosions of big flavours like the fried octopus and kimchi udon broth and blow us away with the nuanced flavours like udon noodles and the sushi rice. Another perfect meal with great customer service.

Decided to give Yoku Sushi a try for my boyfriends birthday, and I must admit, we have been wonderfully surprised not only, by the delicious food we were offered, but also by the friendly and inviting atmosphere of the place and staff. We ordered miso soup, kimchi, a sharing platter of sashimi, and two prawn katsu curry, accompanied by a delicious not only in taste, but in presentation too bottle of sake. For our dessert we ordered matcha mochi with some Japanese green tea, presented in a beautiful Japanese ceramic teapot and cups. An absolutely fantastic experience for a first time visit. Would definite recommend and planning on coming back here myself as well!

There is a lot of different dishes to choose from, but what we chose was delicious

The restaurant seems quite popular and is often quite busy, however the staff are great, happy and friendly all the time and service is efficient. They have a variety of food, mix of Chinese, Korean and Japanese, and a large of options to choose from. On the whole, most of the hot options are pretty decent. However, I would steer clear of the sushi which has raw fish, the fish wasn't fresh, this is a red flag and definite no no for sushi and sashimi.

Presentation of food was excellent and all our food came to the table at the same time as we asked (mix of appetisers and main courses) nice and hot. Food tasted absolutely amazing. Beautiful restaurant amazing staff lovely food

The 3 of us had the sashimi sharing plate, Rainbow rolls, Unagi sushis, Tempura, Miso soup and drinks and we were all very happy. Great service and atmosphere too

I have passed this place before but this was my first visit. I'm so glad that I went in! Sooooooo good!! Gyoza were the best I have ever eaten. Tempura and miso were also really good. My friend had the squid and octopus balls and said that they were really good. We returned 2 days later and had beef bulgogi which was amazing!! We did not try the sushi but it looked amazing!! Book a table now!

The lunchtime menu is fantastic, food is yummy and the service was great! Sushi was great but the beef is a bit too dry for my liking.

It may be quite a while ago but my auntie was unfortunate to have had a fish bone stuck in her throat. However, the staff were quick to respond and even sent us home with some lemons and limes. Very wonderful service. We came in in a large group and wasn't sure if we would be allowed in as we did not book yet they managed to get us in. The food was wonderful. Thank you

Honestly just your average sushi place.

Lovely food always heard good from them,but they didn’t complete my order I asked for a California roll and usually it includes the crab on top which they didn’t put,I am extremely devastated since it was my favourite part.

Only stopping one night in Eastbourne found this restaurant by accident lucky I did the food was wonderful they had some Korean dishes on the menu which I love and i wasn't disappointed overall the food the service and price were spot and left very happy shame there not in West Yorkshire I would definitely be going back

Absolutely amazing!! I live locally and come here all the time, it's my favourite restaurant in town. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is all absolutely delicious. I've yet to have a dish that was anything less than wonderful! I would especially recommend going at lunch time and getting a bento box, which is perfect for when I can't decide between all the yummy options. Would leave 6 stars if I could.

Great food. Great service. Served fast. Decent price. I’ve been here many times with my partner. We’ve always really enjoyed it. Reasonably priced. Food normally comes quickly. Recently we had the crab roll which was great, the stir fried noodles are great (I would prefer more udon noodles in it though), Katsu curry is great. Spicy seafood ramen is great. Would recommend getting the sesame ice cream mochi. We have never had a bad experience, although we did have to wait a while for mains on Valentine’s Day, the starters still came quickly though.

We ordered the tan tan beef ramen, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The beef was tough and the broth tasted like instant noodles. The 7 spice squid and yakitori were decent, but the only positive aspect was that the food was served quickly.

ZERO STARS. very dangerous risk of food poisoning. Received what should be raw sushi with rice in a bag with hot ramen and hot chicken resulting in the sushi being warm and partly cooked! How dangerous. Total incompetence could result in seriously poisoning customers.

Just passing through Eastbourne and stopped here for lunch, had two bento boxes to takeaway and they were amazing. Totally exceeded our expectations. Looking for an excuse to go back so we can eat in the restaurant. Highly recommend

My friends and I come here once a month after our payday. It’s like a mega treat for us. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is always very clean and we absolutely love the food. Yum yum. Can’t wait for this months visit.

We regularly come here for dinner. I have tried some sushi, ramen and bibimbap, and they are all DIVINE. Highly recommend it if you want a nice dinner.

Food delivery. I love this restaurant but the salmon teriyaki was very dry and a very small portion for £13! Next time I go in I will complain.

I was looking forward to going for quite a while, and ended up somewhat disappointed unfortunately. The service was fine, food was ok, atmosphere also just ok, a bit noisy and dark. My main issue is that the food didn't taste very fresh, presentation was nice but the beef was chewy/fatty and everything was salty and lacking other flavours. Nothing was super bad, but I've had much better meals too. I will say the Pumpkin Croquettes and the Sushi were the better parts of my meal, the mains were a let down.

This is one of my favourite restaurant. You can eat really well here. Everything is perfectly seasoned and prepared. However, it should be noted that the portions to take away are much smaller than the portions on site. I recently ordered 2 pasta dishes there one with chicken the other with beef for take way and I was slightly disappointed because there was no meat in either one just few small pic. But generally I have eaten many times at this restaurant and recommend it.

Had a takeaway including spicy chicken, tempura prawns and calamari. All very enjoyable at around £30 for two via Deliveroo.

Had a great time here. The sushi was fresh and to a high standard. Our server looked after us and overall we found everything to be reasonably priced.
