The best restaurants serving French food in Lansdown Cheltenham South West

Pastries look lovely, unfortunately a lack of vegan options. There is one pastry, no savouries. This is a shame as other bakeries are way more inclusive. Coffee was lovely and environment is nice but absolutely freezing! It is undercover but it’s a temporary structure which doesn’t warm up!

We have been regulars at L’Artisan for many years. It was our absolute favourite restaurant and we were devastated when it closed. Yves was a magician in the kitchen; the food was always fabulous and imaginative, the presentation beautiful and the ambience wonderful. Elisabeth always made us very welcome, with hugs and kisses all round, as did Anna, their lovely waitress. It was such a relaxed atmosphere and we loved talking to Yves when he emerged from the kitchen to chat with clients. What shall we do now without you? Lesley & Roger

My new favourite restaurant! We had three courses each and every single one was fantastic. The service was excellent, the waiters were so attentive and the food came out so quickly. To be fair the restaurant wasn’t that busy but we were very impressed. Thank you for such a lovely evening.
