An absolutely faultless dining experience. From the minute we walked in everything was exceptional. From the (obviously) fresh, top quality ingredients, to the cooking and serving of each course, it deserves everyone of these 5 stars. I cannot recommend Muse highly enough and can't wait to revisit. Well done to the entire team.

First time at this eateries. Couldn't fault it. Service attentive and genuinely concerned that you were enjoying the meal. Complimentary hot bread rolls, butter, soup and tomato prancing. Our choices for starters and mains were superb and good portion sizes. I mentioned that it was my partner's birthday and at the end of the meal he was presented with a chocolate brownie with obligatory candle. We'll be going back !

Exceptionally good - a really top notch lunch experience, which was perfect for a special occasion. Delicious food and a classy atmosphere, with some really imaginative dishes. They offer an unusual fusion of French and Indian style cuisine, with something for everyone! We will definitely be back soon. There's a great value 'prix fixe' lunch offer as well.

We came here after day at the races. The menu had a distinctive Asian bias on the night but with a European take on the food. We ate tandoori smoked hake followed by desert cocktails and frankly, we were blown away. The dish was exceptional, the service friendly and attentive, and the environment really smart and welcoming. I would strongly recommend when in Cheltenham!

My wife and I visited Muse to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and from the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel truly welcome. I don’t often dine out and have my expectations exceeded, but every course was outstanding. Initially, I was hesitant about the fusion of French and Indian cuisine, but the flavors complemented each other beautifully. Muse has certainly won us over, and we’ll definitely be returning. Thank you for an unforgettable evening and making our day very special!

We cannot thank MUSE enough for our experience with them yesterday evening. We connected 40+ businesses at their venue for a welcome drink, 3-course meal and half a bottle of wine for a fantastic price. The food was exceptional (with very generous portions), as was the service, so the evening ran seamlessly. Having organised 4 of these Supper Clubs before, we can confidently say MUSE was our best yet. Had a great meal here! I assumed portion sizes would be really small here, but I was happily surprised and came away feeling full and VERY satisfied. The meal was delicious and service was also very good.

I don't often get around to writing reviews but after our last dinner at Muse Brasserie with my family I felt inspired to write one. I have been going to Muse a couple of times a year since it opened, and every single time it is consistently excellent - the menu is always intriguing (a really interesting mix of French and Indian cuisine - it's unusual and totally works!), the food is absolutely delicious (thanks to the French and Indian chefs), and great care is taken over presentation without being pretentious or nouvelle cuisine. The fish and seafood are a particular highlight, with some unusual offerings such as soft-shell crab - out of this world - along with the unbelievably delicious king prawns starter and Tandoori cod main (the fish of the day). Having been to India several times, we were taken right back there with the flavours and aromas of the Indian dishes (not hot, just richly and exquisitely flavoured). The French owner (a high level chef) is always on the scene, ensuring the high standards of food and service are maintained. The lunch deals are extraordinarily good value, but we also love going in the evening because of the ambience (and cocktails!). It is so common that a new restaurant opens and is great in the first few months but then standards start to drop. However, this is absolutely not the case with Muse. If anything, I'd say it's getting better and better. If you haven't tried Muse, I urge you to do so. It really is something special and out of the ordinary, and is a wonderful experience. A huge well done and thank you to the whole Muse team!

An all-round super restaurant. First time visit but I was very impressed. The food is amazing. I had catch of the day from the grill which was a beautiful piece of cod, cooked to perfection with moilee sauce - an absolute joy to eat. And try the Comté cheese soufflé, you wont be disappointed. The service was also very good, friendly and attentive, the general ambience is warm and inviting. Very (very) highly recommended.

2 night break away in Cheltenham with partner and decided we’d treat ourselves whilst having a child free break! What a choice I made, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the whole experience was top class! The surroundings, ambience, service, food and drink and all for good value in my opinion! No service charge is added here but I was more than happy to tip 10% of our bill! Cannot recommend enough! Well done and keep it up!

Absolutely 1st class. The service is impeccable but not overbearing. The food is exquisite. The ambiance is relaxed yet vibrant without being noisy. If you choose this restaurant you won’t be disappointed. The pricing is value for money. Overall a visit here is a decision well made.

Just came back after a birthday meal here. It was fantastic! The two of us are vegan and what impressed us was the selection of vegan choices on the menu. The dishes didn't disappoint. Both the starters and mains were beautiful in presentation and delectable. The flavours were on point and the menu was unique and creative. The front of house staff were friendly and attentive and at the end of the meal even surprised us with a vegan birthday cake. It really made the day so special. Thank you so much to the very kind front of house staff and big compliments to the chef(s)!

The comté cheese souffle is to die for. However, the service is poor. The servers are just walking around not noticing anything. The mains are a hit and miss. The risotto was okay, could make better at home. I'd come back for the souffle but that's all. Not worth the price.

We had a Fabulous meal, the food, staff and restaurant were all stunning ❤️ So much so we rebooked for the following evening. Such lovely friendly and attentive staff in a beautiful and relaxing ambiance.

Based on the excellent reviews, I booked dinner for seven of us at Muse this evening. All of us were SO impressed. The food was exceptional, the service attentive and the atmosphere wonderful. I can’t rate this restaurant highly enough!

Had a celebratory lunch here today (21/11/24) and was very impressed. The overall food quality, flavour and presentation were excellent, greatly supported by welcoming friendly staff. The MUSE is well presented, with a warm mid-day ambience that puts you at ease. Worth the five stars and well worth a visit.

Fantastic Evening at Muse Brasserie. Booked the restaurant online due to the amazing reviews and certainly didn't disappoint. The Head chef even came out to speak to us to see how our food and evening had been. Will definitely go back on our next visit to Cheltenham 😀👌👍

Food ok but unexceptional given the cost. Little meat on the guinea fowl. Service disinterested.

We got there at 5pm when it first opened for dinner. The setting would have been lovely if it weren’t for all the food on the floor and the filthy toilets. Your feet felt like they were sticking to the floors. Also we could see one of the chefs smoking out the front. I ordered a glass of champagne but what they served me was so sweet, when i queried it she told me they had ran out of champagne so gave me something else instead - they were not going to tell me this and were still going to charge me for champagne. Not good! The food was only ok. My husbands prawn starter was nice. My beef looked like it had come out of a tin. It was also on the luke warm side. We will not be back.

Posh and cosy restaurant very well decorated. We had risotto and ravioli and both were well made and hit the spot. We went expecting a bit more French food but most dishes have a strong Indian touch. Area for improvement would be the french fries which should be a bit more homemade. Very attentive and polite staff.

We have been coming to Muse for a long time and every time they deliver 10/10 and I must admit the T-Bone steak I had tonight was the best steak I have ever had and I eat a lot of steaks in many different places. Highly recommend Muse. Absolutely the best A++++

We went here as a last minute decision for mid week lunch. So glad we did. Great service from a charming waitress. Really nice tasting, excellent food and wine. Saw the rest of the team as we left and they seemed like a great unit. We will be back!

Dined with a group of friends. Everything was great - attentive, friendly service, lovely, well cooked and presented food and really reasonable prices. We were there for a friend’s birthday, and they thoughtfully bought a birthday chocolate cake with a candle.

Picked a brasserie with a difference. Seemed to be fusion French and Indian. Very friendly staff on a quiet Wednesday lunchtime, so attentive service. Nice wine selection at reasonable prices. We had the Price-fixe menu which was good value and I opted for Le tiffin - Gulabi chicken tikka masala, cumin rice, paratha and papadoms. Wow, excellent flavour , just delicious. My wife had the Pan-seared garlic gnocchi, pesto sauce and was also suitably impressed. Would recommend!!

Fabulous celebration. Age range was 82 to 19, something for everyone including dietary restrictions. Service was discrete and attentive. Every dish amazing. Starters included the soft shell crab (wow) and pork belly (double wow from the 19 year old), mains Le Tiffin, cod, monkfish as well as duck and risotto- all excellent. Those that had room enjoyed sticky toffee pudding, ice cream and pavlova, all fab. Ambiance just right. Thank you for a special 70th birthday celebration

Was a great family experiance. Food was fantastic and atmosphere friendly and inviting. The venue itself was beautifully decorated. You have to pay for class and as aman of moderate income I found this wasn't great value. If I had the money I would probably change that point of view. It's not a negative just a financial reality.

My daughter recommended this lovely restaurant so we booked for a Thursday evening when we were spending a few days in Cheltenham. First, the restaurant is very pretty and although we booked for an early dinner at 7 pm there were plenty of other diners there already. From start to finish the staff, the food, the wine and not forgetting the chef (who came out to say hello) was perfect. The amuse bouche was a nice touch when we arrived and my duck with cherry sauce, dauphinois potatoes and roast vegetables was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. My husband had the pistacchio crusted cod and enjoyed his as much as I did. There was no problem when we asked to share a sticky toffee pudding as we were too full to have one each. Muse would definitely be my first choice if we return to Cheltenham.

So it’s a fusion of french and Indian cuisine. The chefs from Hyderabad. However not every dish is fusion so you could happily have a ‘french’ meal or an ‘Indian’ meal. I had a heritage tomato salad to start which was very god. Then I had the fish of the day - which was tandoori monkfish. I was a bit sceptical but most of the fish was very good and worked well with the tandoori coating - however the end pieces were overpowered by the tandoori which shows how delicate the balance is. My companions had a wide range of the rest of the menu. All good and the masala fries were very nice. I would come again !

As a family of 4 we went here a few weeks ago and every course was absolutely fabulous, can’t fault it. Three courses, amuse bouche, wine, cocktails all for £250 and worth every penny.

Probably in the top 2 meals I have had. Tastes were varied and worked excellently together. Highly recommend.

I visited with colleagues while staying in Cheltenham. The restaurant was recommended to us by the airbnb owner. The restaurant boasts beautiful decor, friendly and attentive staff, and a fantastic menu - the food blew us all away. Lovely little Amuse Bouche before our starters, very tasty. We had varied meals, by starter was the seafood trio which was absolutely gorgeous, I could really taste the Asian fused with the traditional seafood starter. Main course for me was steak which was perfectly cooked, medium rare as ordered. Chips were perfect, crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. One of the restaurant owners and chef, Frank came over to chat - such a lovely gentleman. Good luck with your next restaurant, I very much look forward to bringing my family to see you in Cardiff. We were quite surprised to find this little nugget in Cheltenham. The service was amazing but as importantly was the food. The cuisine was described to us as a mix of French and Indian . Lets not forget the sticky toffee pudding .. mouthwatering.While this was a rather unique mix, undoubtedly, very delicious. A must visit for anyone who is around the cotswolds.

There are many vegetarian options in the menu. Everything we ate was great. Desserts were also very tasty.

Going here is always a treat for good atmosphere, quality food and drinks. The food serving is really a good value for money and the food selection can cater for everyone. Not a vegan but I tried the vegan option of having the spinach, tofu and it wa so good that I can easily switch to be a vegetarian. Visit this place and you will see how special it is. So glad we have this restaurant in Cheltenham

Second time here and wasn’t disappointed. Very nice food. I love the cured mackerel served 3 ways. Deep fried Okra, crispy and tasty. For the mains Chicken a la moutard and spicy haddock. It was nice to meet Tom the French chef.

What a beautiful premise and dining experience! We were in Cheltenham for a couple of nights, and our hotel receptionist recommended this place. It was a busy Saturday evening and we had no prior booking, so we waited for about 15-20mins. The cuisine is Indian and French influenced, which is something rather new to us. Excellent service from the get go, and we couldn't be more pleased. We ordered some drinks to start, which both were delicious (Blueberry Bourbon Sour and Violet French 07). We got some complimentary bread rolls & butter and a couple of Cucumber Gespacho shots and Chicken Tikkis—also delicious. For the starters, we ordered Pork Croquettes and Cauliflower 65. The croquettes were beautiful and complex, whereas the cauliflower was kinda the opposite . I wish I had gone for the Smoked Duck & Chicken Terrines. The main dishes, however, were stunning! My bf went for the Chicken a la moutarde, and I went for the Pork Chop (swapping the chips for mashed potato). Overall, it was such an amazing dining experience. The service was impeccable, and after our meal the French head chef came out to have chat with us. Glad we went and would definitely recommend! Thanks

What an incredible find. Amazing food, service, cocktails, ambience. The team catered to my gluten free needs and they menu held so many wonderful dishes, it was hard to choose.

So impressed - the appearance of the food was incredible. We all thought genuinely that the taste wouldn’t live up to the image, and were happily proved wrong! Just as delicious as it looked The chef (one of the owners) even came out to our table to explain the vision of the restaurant, and to ask about our experience. He was so welcoming and friendly. Definitely one to return to. All of the waiting staff were friendly, polite and completed the experience.

This is a very special place and well worth a visit. I suggest trying the lunch menu: ocra fries, followed by Le Tifin - a delicious curry that comes with rice, bread and some small popadoms. The ocra comes with a lovely marinade for dipping. Enjoy the window art by Emily Juliet Steven’s

Went here with my mum for dinner and we were blown away! Truly one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The service was outstanding; everything was served with a smile and very promptly. The chef and owner himself Franck even came to every table to chat to customers! Not to mention the food which was so delicious, I imagine everything on the menu is cooked to perfection as our pork chops were. Dessert was also fantastic I recommend the chocolate Marquise. Will definitely come again it was a very memorable evening.

We enjoyed a nice dinner here on Saturday. It's a really nicely furnished interior with care taken on style and attractive menus. A small but very good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. We had the goats cheese and crispy pork belly starters. The belly wasn't crispy but the chef (who visited most tables) explained the skin is removed and a crispy crumb is added. It was tasty enough but I was hoping for proper crackling. The goats cheese was very strong and the chutney and pickled items weren't tart enough to cut through it. Main courses we had coq au vin and venison. The male waiter, when we ordered, was very unsure as to what veg/carb came with main courses so we ended up with too many side dishes of vegetable. The venison was quite nice if quite a small portion, but served with a delicious berry jus and some truffle mash which was well seasoned. The star on the plate was the bolognaise bon bon, delicious and I could have eaten a bowl full. The coq au vin came with a small side slice of dauphinoise which I'm told was a bit dense and dry. We didn't have room for desserts as we hadn't appreciated bread and amuse bouches were coming from the kitchen. Nice warm rolls served with unsalted butter and a shot of leek and potato soup and a tomato arancini. Perhaps my fault but the beaujolais which I was expecting to be light, mellow and fruity was sharp and unpleasant. We left it to breathe almost to the very end and our dinner guest struggled through one glass, I left mine and we left some in the bottle. Unheard of! Guess we were unlucky but for £32 was hoping for better. The general serving staff were friendly and warm if a little inexperienced at serving. Instead of delivering around each side of the table, dishes were passed over in front of us. But a minor point. It was a really nice atmosphere and mainly small groups of diners and couples enjoying a chilled evening. I didn't notice any music which might have been nice. I would return.

Dined at Muse to celebrate a friend's birthday, such a lovely experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff very attentive without being intrusive. As for the food, all our choices were absolutely delicious. Franc, the chef, often pops out of the kitchen and visits diners, to ensure that they are happy with their food. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Came with a large group of ladies for a Christmas meal. We were seating quickly and welcome drinks came round. Then another warm little drink came around with a snack. All our meals were lovely to look at S well as flavoursome. Mini mince pies offered at the end. Great service and they were busy. It’s a fusion of French and Indian. Odd combo but it works.
