The best restaurants serving French food in Spitalfields and Banglatown Tower Hamlets London

My wife treated me to a lovely meal here on Friday. We opted for the 7 course tasting menu and I really could not fault it. Each course was presented perfectly and delicious. The servers were all great and hats off to one who noted my wife uses her cutlery the other way round ( i forgot his nsme ) Attention to detail. That’s only ever happened once before in The Fat Duck. By the time the 7th course arrived we were pretty full up but we had a go. The setting of the restaurant was in an old school and it looked lovely. Thank you to all team at Galvin La Chappele for making our evening perfect in everyway.

Main dish was NOT as described on menu. Instead of salsify I was served shredded sprouts. As I detest sprouts this ruined my dining experience. We were rushed as staff wanted to close. Won't bother again.

Cozy French bistro with excellent starters - French onion soup, cheese soufflé, beef tartar were all perfect! Only 4 stars as we found the mains lacking in flavour and not great value for money

Ce restaurant s'appelle dorénavant FOGG'S kitchen & bar. Service accueillant, plat copieux bon rapport qualité prix.

Fui a Le Bun @ Rotate en Shoreditch y fue muy decepcionante. Las mesas y los menús eran pegajosos, nada limpios. Las hamburguesas estaban poco cocinadas, nadie nos preguntó cómo queríamos que se cocinara nuestra carne y el cocinero tenía el pelo largo sin gorro. Falla de salud y seguridad. Nunca iría allí y no lo recomendaría.
