The best restaurants serving French food in Central Bedfordshire East of England

Always a lovely place to eat. Food ,atmosphere great hosts

I was in town with my daughter and husband, we wanted an ice cream and found this place was open. We should have actually walked straight pass, the hygiene is no existent. No one wears PPE, one employee walked in in his motorbike gear, didn't wash his hands and started handling food and equipment. He then late his friend into the food prep area so he could use the bathroom. The lady manning the tile, whist no prepping food, kept on touching her face. There are markings on the floor but it seems that it's just for show. They've obviously rushed to reopen but didn't bother reading the basic government's guidelines with regards to COVID-19. Avoid this place!!!

We arrived in the dark and found that it was poorly signed as to which way to go. Could do bigger signs and lighting. We got into the restaurant which was lovely and greeted with a warm welcome. Restaurant was empty. Service from the staff is a little chilled. We shared some starters, had a main and des sert . All the food was presented well , fresh and tasty . We upgraded our chips to the parmasian and truffle fries and they're really nice 👌 Steak was cooked well and 1 of the best sirloins I've eaten. It it a little expensive yes but the quality was there so you don't mind paying .
