We had cod and chips from here on a Friday evening. Lovely white fish in crispy light batter. More than enough chips, nicely cooked. Friendly service.

Food was tasty and even looked grate.

They are now selling on Food Hub but not taking cash orders. That's not good trading for non card holders. No wonder they haven't received any star ratings at the moment on Food Hub. Nice clean chips, potato wedges had nice spicy to them, the chicken kebab has lots of meat with a nice separate salad so it didn't get all sweaty. The steak and kidney pie was heated well it was hot without having the pastry dry up. Good food guys. Edit: 13/12/24 Awful food this week, all the food was just about warm cuz of a 70min delivery time. Had large chips last week in paper they were very hot and fresh, but not this week. Dirty chips in a small box, the burgers lettuce was brown and soggy, and the wedges were near cold. So from 5 stars last week to 1 star this week. 👎

Very poor service - the first time I ordered, the driver didn't seem to care that he hadn't brought the drink. Ordered again a couple weeks later, hoping it was a one off, and yet the same driver turned up, was bellierant and rude when I questioned why I was given a can instead of a 1.5L bottle, and just walked off. Great food, unfortunately horrendous customer service and incredibly rude delivery driver. Never ordering from here again.

Used the machine to order and selected the “eat in” option. Food came and we were told that they weren’t doing “eat in” and we’d have to take it away - clearly their need to close early usurps any customer requirements. As we were staying next door it wasn’t a problem, but I wish I’d told them to keep it and refund the money. And the burgers? Lukewarm and barely edible. I wouldn’t use this branch again.

I have recently started to visit the Ely KFC and noted on all previous visits that te service was rather slow even when only a couple of people were present. Today however I was served by an Asian lady (Mehwish) who's skill of organising p in 5 minutes, whie directing others. she would run that KFC best in my opinionut all others to shame. Fast, well organised, managing a half dozen orders . Sadly she is not in charge hence I doubt it will improve. . Nice tasting chicken but needs better management. I used to manage a team of 250 men so know what I am talking about. Chose the right people not te rabble is my advice.
