NRG Cavern

Central, Worthing, <20£
19/06/2018: I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly and my husband had chicken. Absolutely amazing. Been a few times and what I really like is the fact they don’t over load your plate. So you can clear your plate, feel full and also a little healthier as all the ingredients are so fresh.
18/06/2018: I’ve never been disappointed yet, great healthy food. They also cater for food intolerances & vegetarians. Service is always great and lots of choices and daily specials.

Munch Coffee Bar & Kitchen

Central, Worthing, <20£
18/06/2018: Emailed ahead to ensure we could have all day breakfast. Instant reply which I thanked the staff when we visited.
16/06/2018: Popped along to Munch during a busy shopping Saturday. So pleased we did - a friendly welcome always helps! We chose from the special's menu, my Mum had a chicken and onion ring/chipotle burger. She really enjoyed it. I loved my burger - a vegan root vegetable and quinoa one! MMM! So good, delicious, seriously the best burger I have had since becoming a vegan in 2016. Wow! There were lots of tasty drinks on offer, too, all could be veganised if you want.

Ami Cafe + Bistro

Heene, Worthing, 30-45£
03/06/2018: Have looked at it a few times and always seems to get good TA reviews but for some reason had never been before last night. Menu is fairly short but plenty of variety so something for most tastes including those who like their food with a (v) or (vg) suffix.
27/05/2018: A good menu which doesn’t just talk the talk but delivers to. Clearly very good chefs work here with some lovely flavors, the servers are friendly and inviting. can get pricey if drinking alcohol.

Heene, Worthing, >100£
02/06/2018: We hadn't been for a while but booked for a Friday evening. We were quite surprised that it wasn't that busy but we took our seats and looked through the menu. I don't think that the menu has changed in the many years that we have been going here and all of my old favourites are on there. You still get a very warm welcome from the lady owner and even though the waiting staff regularly seem to change, they were very efficient and friendly.
20/05/2018: OM is fantastic, have eaten there many times and always had brilliant food and service. Recently went for my birthday and was treated very well by all staff. Highly recommended to all

Central, Worthing
18/06/2018: Fresh, tasty food. Ended up ordering a second starter plate as our children who usually eat very little when eating unfamiliar food ate it all. Ordered a special platter for main course which was huge and tasty. We couldn't finish it although still found space for some yummy baklava.
10/06/2018: Really impressed. Never had Turkish food before and really pleased I tried it. Had the mixed share platter which was cooked to perfection. The bread was excellent and the staff very attentive. Will be going back here for sure

Parsonage Bar & Restaurant

Tarring, Worthing, >100£
20/05/2018: Not a regular diner but always visit The Parsonage for a treat, and oh my, what a treat it was !! Amazing food as always, served by very pleasant and courtieos staff. Our 'GO TO' place. Well done The Parsonage. Be back soon
15/05/2018: What a lovely charming restaurant with exceptional service and food to match. My partner and I plumbed for the renowned steaks with all the trimmings, cooked to your liking presented beautifully and with a stunning garlic butter sauce. The ambience is ideal for romantic/ celebration dinners and the menu is extensive and mouth watering.

Central, Worthing, 30-45£
20/06/2018: Having recently moved to Worthing we were looking for somewhere to go for my husband’s birthday meal and found the Crab Shack on Trip Advisor. We couldn’t have chosen better. The food was delicious and obviously fresh. It was also a beautiful setting - walking out afterwards and seeeing the view just added to the overall occasion. The staff were lovely too. It was quite busy, even on a Tuesday evening, so I’d recommend booking, but it’s definitely worth it.
20/06/2018: Heard about this 'plaice' from a family who visited a few weeks ago, and thought we would give it a try.

Food Restaurant

Central, Worthing
18/06/2018: Another lunch get-together with friends and this time the food was a lot better. Special lunch offer was a free starter or pud with a main dish. However we stuck with the lighter menu. Mussels were good - plump and served in a coconut broth with bread. Pork was also tasty and chips were happily provided in place of veg. Good service. It’s a shame the restaurant has very little atmosphere but pleased that the meals were better in terms of value and quality.
15/06/2018: Now I don't this to be all doom and gloom. The overall experience was ok. It just wasn't great. First, the 'banter' the waiter comes out with. I know it's to help customers relax and enjoy themselves. But it was just drivel. And he was saying the same things to everyone. We asked for a portion of artisan bread. What we didn't expect was four slices of bread that could be bought from Asda/Tesco's of just the same quality and a lot less money. Starters were ok. My mussels were cold on the top and hot at the bottom. But overall taste was nice. This was accompanied by another slice of artisan finest white sliced. The lobster main ( the most expensive thing on the menu I think) was just disappointing. The lobster itself was tasteless. The chips were cooked to within an inch of their lives, and when I asked for mayo I got served it straight on to my plate. Would of much rather had it by itself so I could choose where and when I wanted it.

The Orchard Cafe

Central, Worthing, <20£
17/06/2018: Visited on Fathers Day as a treat. We've walked past this place many times on the way from the nearby Waitrose and it always looked nice but this was the first time I'd been through the doors.
14/06/2018: This place is friendly, relaxed and has a vast selection of vegan and non vegan food. I went with the beet hummus, avocado on sourdough toast with mushrooms and red pesto and it did not disappoint! In fact I wish I had ordered double as it was so good! The portion sizes were good and the food was very reasonable. Also the vegan chocolate milkshakes are to die for! Definitely recommend and will be returning to try the rest of the menu!

Selden, Worthing
20/06/2018: As a couple and a family we've eaten here many times over the years and this was our fourth visit since its refurbishment. The staff were (and are) friendly and very helpful and the food is always uniformly good. Prices have gone up a little but still excellent value as the fish is so tasty. It was packed during our visit which is testament to its loyal following and food offering.
19/06/2018: What an excellent restaurAnt. The fish and chips was superb and the menu was extremely varied and all very good quality fresh fish and very good chips far superior to other fish restaurants we have visited. Busy take awY are and outside seating for sunny days will visit again very soon. The staff were all very helpful and polite and friendly a very well run restaurant

Thai Street Food

Central, Worthing, <20£
18/06/2018: If you are seeking an up market restaurant then Thai Street Food is not for you. If you enjoy a warm welcome, generous portions of freshly cooked, delicious Thai food then hurry along. Yamin enjoys chatting to her customers and the menu has a myriad of authentic dishes to choose from. The green Thai curry is amazing, as are the spring rolls and tempura. For lunch the tom yum soup is filling and warming. Prices are reasonable and the quality of the meals always excellent.
18/06/2018: If you value a restaurant by how good the food is rather than table cloths and posh furniture, then for Thai food in Worthing, this is number ONE. For what is called street food, it is fresh and authentic. The owner is Thai and knocks spots off many a 'formula thai' food place. I have eaten here with family and friends a good six times and have always been pleased. It's good value and the staff friendly. The ambience is laid back and street style.

Imperial China

Heene, Worthing
19/06/2018: tables have plenty of space between them and are of various sizes. Staff are extremely smart. Dressed in black and white. They appear very calm, very polite and it is certainly service with a smile. Food was excellent. Not the cheapest place but not overpriced for the quality and amount of dishes.
04/06/2018: We had an excellent dinner here. The food particularly the starters are top quality, lots of meat on the spare ribs-yum! A very good wine list although the house white is fine for all. Lively décor and attentive staff.

Casa Ciro

Central, Worthing
18/06/2018: Good sized portions, non-pretentious and delicious food. Well presented by helpful and friendly staff. No fussiness or frills, just good home style cooking with fresh ingredients.
13/06/2018: The Italian food was delicious - our group had a mixture of entrees and they were all good. The service was okay but we felt that we were a little rushed at the end. We would have stayed for more drinks but went elsewhere afterwards. Overall though worth going to for a good old fashioned Italian meal

The Piggery Shop

Gaisford, Worthing
08/06/2018: Outstanding food for our party event. Excellent service on the event night and all guests very happy. Generous amounts of meat and all extras included. A very stress free way to cater for big numbers.
09/05/2018: Me and my partner loved this place we used to go every week sometimes even twice a week but unfortunately we had to move away :( we have since tried other stalls/ places similar and nothing compares the piggery is the best place for fresh cooked pork that is never dry! crackling and gravy over it is just delicious. We miss this place and the friendly staff we met that work there. The stalls they have at broadwater fair have the same quality and standards as the shop aswell. 5 stars!

Marine, Worthing, <20£
18/06/2018: Had been out for a walk & was craving a curry so popped in as had not been before. Service was excellent & food really nice. My madras could have been a bit spicier & the dhal a bit more seasoned but I am very fussy. It was lovely food & I will go back.
30/05/2018: An equal to the Mahon in terms of quality and taste, the best Worthing has to offer. It also excels in Customer service. We eat 4-5 curries a month and here around once a month trying different dishes and have never been disappointed. I suppose if there are negatives, I would single out the decor as being a bit uninspiring, especially in the back (try and get a picture window seat) and the prices of the "accompaniments" and drinks are generally higher than elsewhere but these are minor issues.
