The Old Plough

Oxshott and Stoke D'Abernon, Elmbridge
19/03/2019: We were in midweek and it was packed. Very noisy so had to sit very close to my friend so we could hear each other. Maybe because we were in the centre of the room. The food was good though mine was a little greasy. Service was good.
16/03/2019: We’ve been to this pub at least 3 times now and each time, we’ve been very pleased! The quality is consistently good and there is good service too. The burger is one of my favs!

Mezzet Dar

Molesey East, Elmbridge
17/03/2019: Went to Mezzet Dar yesterday for late lunch and it was amazing! From the outside it looks unpretentious, but what a surprise when we got in! Staff is really nice and attentive without being intrusive. Food is really well thought of, and the combination of Lebanese and Spanish couldn’t be better! Most of all, it is really well sourced, so even the courgette flower tasted really fresh. If you like fish don’t miss the black cod tempura.
15/03/2019: We had a fantastic lunch today at Mezzet Dar. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We thought it couldn’t get any better than the garlic prawns and then they brought out Silence of the lambs. We left a hat and the manager ran after us all the way over Hampton Court Bridge, very kind. We will be coming back soon.

Nikki's Caffe

Weybridge South, Elmbridge
06/03/2019: Met some friends for late morning coffee. Nikki's is very nice and friendly. Cheerful decor. Lots of choices for full breakfast, brunch or nibbles.
22/02/2019: New to the area, I have been looking for a modern take on breakfast and coffee. Nikki’s has done a great job creating such an environment. This place is adorable, clean, contemporary, and delicious. Best Eggs Benedict in town as their hollandaise is a true hollandaise, so much better then most of the places in town that serve a mayo based version. Cappuccino was crafted with heart and the whole experience was wonderful. The cafe was bustling with couples brunching, solos working, and others just enjoying breakfast. Good work! I will be back.

Petriti's Restaurant

Molesey East, Elmbridge, <20£
16/03/2019: I booked this restaurant on a recommendation from a family friend for a special occasion to spend my 3rd anniversary with my beautiful girlfriend.
10/03/2019: Have been here a number of times and it never disappoints. The food is beautifully prepared and presented and at £40 for 3 courses is excellent value given the quality. The service is also first rate, very friendly and with just the right intervals between courses. Very lucky to have this place just a short walk away from our home.

The Queens Head

Weybridge South, Elmbridge, 20-30£
11/03/2019: We visited here for the first time with friends and were made to feel very welcome. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings with very good service and food (Sunday Roasts)
08/03/2019: We had a team meal here. There was a good atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff. Service a little slow but there were 30 of us. Getting a clean glass was a challenge but got there in the end. They only serve gluten free Peroni which is disappointing, the majority having to give way to the minority. Really enjoyed the food, I started with the Pate, then the gammon and eggs, the yolk was hard which was a little disappointing and finished with the cheese, which was at room temperature, always a bonus.

Wheatsheaf on the Green

Esher, Elmbridge, 20-30£
17/03/2019: My husband wanted to try the Wheatsheaf as it is in the same chain as The Old Plough at Cobham and we love it there. We went for Sunday lunch and although it was hard to book a table at a time we really wanted as they booked well ahead, the food was excellent and the service really good. No issues at all for us and we would go again. Interesting to have the same food from the menu as I have at The Old Plough and to see the difference in cooking. Both as good as each other but slightly different.
11/03/2019: Went here with family the food was ok but the amount of veg you got with a Sunday roast was not enough for 4 people. Very noisy and the pub was packed. We booked a table for four adults and two children the table was small and crowded. The staff were nice and friendly

Cappadocia

Walton Central, Elmbridge
18/03/2019: Booked online and it was confirmed very quickly. The restaurant was light and airy with some great service and welcome from all the staff. We tried a few drinks, starters and mains. Highly recommend any authentic Turkish food, tasted amazing. Would 100% return.
11/03/2019: A local restaurant to us which we have visited a number of times. Food consistently good along with the service. The only down side this visit was that the ladies toilet was in a bit of a mess. We will be back again

Walton North, Elmbridge
15/02/2019: You can shop, eat, chat and enjoy the fun of an well run cafe/deli. We visit every week and always leave with a smile. The salads are as good as the panin's and yes cyclists need to stop here (Jo just needs to get a cycle rack)..
08/02/2019: The lovely chaps here spent 20 minutes helping to get my tubeless tyre off the rim after a pothole attack. Massive chapeau!!!

Le Petit Nantais

Molesey East, Elmbridge
13/02/2019: Looking for a reliable and atmospheric restaurant near Hampton Court, then this is the place for you. Owned and run for years by a very passionate family, the French owner is the chef, his wife front of house, all the staff were delightful and knew their stuff! Wide choice of food and wine from across France. All 4 of us who ate their had lovely food and were spoilt for choice. A great vibe.
12/02/2019: Booked this for a Sunday lunch as my husband wanted to try somewhere different from the usual chains. So glad we did. We visited as a family of 5. Three boys and ourselves loved it. They all love rugby so the memorabilia on the walls was a bonus. Food delicious, great service. Quiet for a Sunday late lunch but not complaining. Will be back.

The Running Mare,

Oxshott and Stoke D'Abernon, Elmbridge
15/03/2019: Our group of 4 agreed that the food quality and choice was excellent. The scallops starter was quite spicy, but delicious. We all had different mains from a menu offering plenty of choice. These were also very good with service to match. We were just surprised that there were so few occupied tables during our mid-week visit. Strongly recommended.
08/03/2019: Thoroughly enjoyed the food here - mussels especially! Wow! The service was attentive too - we stayed longer than planned as a result!

Osso buco

Weybridge South, Elmbridge, 30-45£
09/03/2019: I booked Osso bucco after reading great reviews, for my partner's 40th, including her family, who to be fair are Italian food sceptics! We headed to the restaurant after a day at the races and despite being early we were welcomed in by our host, George.
28/02/2019: We come here a lot and the food and service is consistently excellent.

Sherpa Kitchen

Esher, Elmbridge, 30-45£
17/02/2019: Was excited for my first experience of this type of food. Would have preferred a set menu but there was none. Ordered chicken and rice. Was a bit dry and the rice was not freshly cooked. Has a vegetable side which consisted of frozen peas, sweet corn, diced carrots and green beans in sauce. Don’t think I will be back.
12/02/2019: Very good restaurant and extremely friendly staff! I visited that place, as in few months I’m going to Nepal, and I wanted to try Nepales cuisine before my trip. Right now it will be my top 10 restaurant for sure:)
