Mezzet Dar

Molesey East, Elmbridge
06/11/2018: We live locally in East Molesey and Mezzet Dar never fails us for a great dinner and night out. Exceptional service, fabulous food and great atmosphere !
03/10/2018: I, with my brother and his wife went to the Hampton Court Flower Show and I looked on the website to see where we could eat, not too far from Hampton Court, and it was excellent.

Wheatsheaf on the Green

Esher, Elmbridge, 20-30£
01/11/2018: Popped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with not only the qualit y of the food, but the decor and amazing staff. So attentive but not overbearing. I had a wonderful herb roasted chicken with dauphinoise potatoes, jerusalem artichokes, pancetta, crispy kale and a wonderful thyme jus. Absolutely, mouthwateringly, delicious lunch.I will definitely return next time I am in the area.
24/10/2018: Pleasant venue. Adequate parking and a good choice menu. Some beers on tap but not Peroni. Desserts were very nice.

The Old Plough

Oxshott and Stoke D'Abernon, Elmbridge
28/10/2018: We have been coming here for several years and have always had a good experience. However, our last visit was really disappointing. The food was great as always but the service was really bad. When we arrived we were just pointed to our table and it continued at this standard throughout our meal. Not once were we asked how our meal was and to be honest the staff seemed like they would rather be anywhere else. Such a shame as we’re not sure we would go back after this experience.
26/10/2018: I use to come here a lot and enjoy all the food which would be amazing, but now the food quality has dropped, the portions seemed to have shrunk, or are just very small, and the service was terrible!

Walton Central, Elmbridge
10/11/2018: I live a good restaurant and cant fault the staff at all for their lovely service and tentativeness but today maybe as t was late afternoon the food was sloping served and nothing special.
28/10/2018: Cappadocia is a real gem. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience on both occasions we have visited. The food was excellent and very flavourful, recommend the monk fish. The waitress/waiters are very attentive and the ambience is nice, although in some places the tables are a little too close. Belly dancer on our second visit was a strange but welcome experience and added to the sense of trying something different.

Petriti's Restaurant

Molesey East, Elmbridge, <20£
07/11/2018: Love Petriti’s. Amazing food. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Who needs to go to London and pay London prices. Aren’t we the lucky ones. Already booked for Christmas Day.
06/11/2018: We live locally and having read the reviews we visited. The food is fabulous, service is great but the décor pretty dull and we were bemused why there were pictures for sale on the walls. It would be worth livening up the place as the food is great and it could be amazing !

Nikki's Caffe

Weybridge South, Elmbridge
09/11/2018: This is a busy and popular place so it's worth making a reservation if you intend staying for more than only a cup of coffee.
05/11/2018: It was a joy to stumble across Nikki’s a couple of years ago. It’s not easy to find good Coffee in Surrey! Nikki herself is the warmest, kindest. Most welcoming and hardworking small business owner. Service is always with a smile and there’s a lovely buzz whenever you go in there. If you haven’t been you’re missing out!!

The Queens Head

Weybridge South, Elmbridge, 20-30£
12/11/2018: This place is only just about average. That applies to just about everything!! The food the service and the seating. The staff are friendly enough, the menu is not that great and some of the food portions are very small. We booked and visited as four friends we had various dishes and we all agreed not that great.
06/11/2018: Friendly service from the barman and the waiting staff. The food was reasonably good at fair prices. I’d dine here again.

Prima Fila

Walton Central, Elmbridge
06/11/2018: My neighbour suggested this restaurant for lunch. It looks small from the outside, but they also have a large area upstairs too. They have a set price Lunch menu with some wonderful choices along side their a la carte options. The wine list is simple but expressive of the cooking.
05/11/2018: We haven’t been able to visit for so long due to family commitments. Even though my son’s favourite carbonara was no longer on the menu they were still happy to accommodate and allow him to have it as an accompaniment for his veal. The starters were lovely, we had eaten out mains before I had a chance to take a photos. Suffice to say the seafood risotto, pasta marinara, veal and carbonara, and lamb were absolutely delicious.

Le Petit Nantais

Molesey East, Elmbridge
11/11/2018: Unmissable French restaurant oozing with character on our doorstep.
07/11/2018: As per title I go the every week when working in the locality, for good reason the food is fantastic and varied, the staff are helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Can’t fault the place, excellent in every way.

Sherpa Kitchen

Esher, Elmbridge, 30-45£
11/11/2018: Had dinner here. Food was not good at all. Poppadoms were stale. Rice was stodgy. And very expensive. Would definitely not visit here again.
11/11/2018: We visited for the first time yesterday and have already recommended the Sherpa Kitchen to family and friends!

Osso buco

Weybridge South, Elmbridge, 30-45£
05/11/2018: The good: Menu inventiveness and quality of the food delivered to the table. Staff attentive and selection of wines nicely matched to the menu. Easy parking behind the restaurant in the Library car park.
31/10/2018: Great food and excellent service, the waiters are charming and nothing too much trouble, the food is delectable and and very addictive especially the cheesecake which I had, and my friend had creme brûlée which he ate with great relish and my husband had tiramisu which he enjoyed immensely. Would go every day to eat if I could.

Nuntana Thai at The Royal George

Hersham North, Elmbridge
12/11/2018: One of my friends had booked the dining room at this establishment for her birthday.
07/11/2018: We've eaten here a number of times over the past few years and have always enjoyed it. I have no idea how authentic the food is, but it's certainly always well presented and tasty, and the portions are generous and good value for money. I'm sure the same gentleman has served us on every visit, and he is unfailingly friendly, helpful and charming. Eating at Nuntana is a relaxed and enjoyable experience, and it's nice to be in a pub setting but have something a bit different from pub grub to eat. Won't leave it so long till our next visit!

The Running Mare,

Oxshott and Stoke D'Abernon, Elmbridge
27/10/2018: Popped in for a catch up with a long lost friend and was given a warm and friendly welcome - next time I shall stay longer and also have some food too (what I saw coming out the kitchens looked yummy)!
20/10/2018: It was my first time in this local pub after many recommendations.

The Hare and Hounds

Claygate, Elmbridge, <20£
07/11/2018: We attended the Bordeaux Wine Evening with friends and were impressed once again by the Excellent food and service which exceeded our expectations. We had an impressive talk on the wines we drank by by Gary- well done. Each of the four courses was accompanied by a wine. It never ceases to amaze us is how this restaurant is able to time after time again is able to maintain such high quality..
02/11/2018: We booked dinner here after a family day at Chessington.

Weybridge South, Elmbridge, 45-60£
28/10/2018: It is never a good start when you are not greeted at a restaurant on arrival, instead you have to wander around looking for someone to show you to your table. Unfortunately this led on to a general sense of being surplus to requirements and we kept having to call out to be served. I think as a couple we were not a priority and the groups recieved all the attention. Despite the lack of good customer service, the flavour of the food was very good, although the dishes were quite overpriced and not particulary well presented. The delay with seperate dishes was frustrating. If you order the Mezze you expect everything to come at once, similar to tapas.. so you have a range of flavours on one table. This, for me, is the whole point of Mezze. Some saving graces are: the ambience is great, piano player is a really nice touch and the people were friendly enough when we had their attention. I think more staff with better training would go a long way.
26/10/2018: Fantastic food, wonderful service, genuine local family business. Food was incredibly fresh. Try it, talk to the owners, worth it.
