Baker Tim in Elmbridge

Baker Tim is without a doubt the real deal when it comes to authentic and creative local bakery. As evidenced by the queues that stretch from the door of the shop on a daily basis. This is worth a detour to visit but get in early, especially at the weekend!

I had to adjust my early morning walk so I could visit Baker Tim on the way. The sourdough bread is the best I have ever had and their muffins are to die for

Have been meaning to try Baker Tim’s pizzas for a while, and did today. Nice to have the offer of 2 for £15. No vegan pizzas labelled on the menu but they were very accommodating and I had the spicy vegetable one with no cheese - I didn’t miss it! Great amount of toppings and a nice size. Would 100% get it again

The multi seeded sourdough is a fixture in my life! Consistently superb but it's the gateway drug. Once lured in the cornucopia of smells assail the senses resulting in a lighter wallet but a huge sense of pleasure. Cannot recommend the pasties and pies too highly and the sweet pastry selection is a treat. The constant innovation by Tim et al has resulted in my current favourite...the back bacon and caramelised onion pastry...perfection of a morning.

Having now consumed most of Baker Tim’s excellent products, over the last few months, I can honesty say he has a golden touch and everything tastes sensational. Well done!

We wanted to add to the great reviews received for Baker Tim. We have tried various bread, cakes and pasties .(yet to try the pizza's) ........we are absolutely hooked and now find it difficult to walk pass the shop without buying something. Having a warm loaf for breakfast on a Sunday morning is a real treat. Keep doing what you're doing Baker Tim.....;-)

Dropped into Tim's bakery for the first time this morning. Most tastiest bread ever eaten. Never had such crunchy toast. Really good to see a local baker providing such an interesting array of breads. Pastries excellent too. Our new go to shop for breakfast.

Incredible bakery. Open on sundays until 11! Really popular. We got the sausage rolls, custard tarts and a fresh baked loaf. Everything incredible and so fresh - the sausage rolls were straight from the oven!! 11/10 can’t wait to go back

Always a delight going to Baker Tim’s but I didn’t expect to be able to get a bacon baguette. Top drawer all round and he chucked in a custard tart for free. Winning.

So Tim lured me in. What a mistake. Could have cleared him out if I'd known how good it is 😂 Nice to meet the man Timself too. Great pasties. Lovely bit of tart. Will return!

Can’t recommend highly enough. The focaccia is heaven, as are the sausage rolls, the chocolate pebbles, the ciabatta. The only problem is the effect on my waistline....

I went in for a Baguette and came out with a baguette and a cheese and ham tart. Both excellent quality but I have to say the tart was the best I have ever tasted. All breads cakes and savourys are baked in the shop, Looking forward to trying his Pizza one evening.

Tim is such a lovely chap and he makes the most delicious bread! I highly recommend the pretzels and rosemary and rock salt focaccia! The pizzas are also great. Great to have Baker Tim in the village :)

This charming take-away place first opened recently. It sells artisan bread during the day, and artisan pizzas in the evening. It has a large variety of breads, and the few that I have tried have all been absolutely outstanding. Still warm when I got it home. Tim was very friendly and amiable, and gave me 'the bread tour' and a taste of some great focaccia. The are a few varieties of 'Boston pizza' which is a base of focaccia with pizza-like toppings, served in a lunch-size chunk. There is free parking nearby, and I would definitely recommend a trip! The best bread for miles. It is quite hard to spot by car, but it is just to the left of Boots pharmacy.
