The best restaurants serving Default food in Llwyn-y-pia Rhondda Cynon Taf South Wales

I’d heard of Colliery 19, but never got around to going there….until this evening, and we’re so glad we did. The food was wonderful and the staff so very attentive and totally customer focussed. It was lovely that some of the trainee chefs came to our table and asked for our opinion on the course they’d prepared. This just added to what was already a lovely experience. I think we’ll be going back, and soon.

Just popped in having heard this venue was amazing. Such a friendly welcome, so homely and comfortable. The menu had lots to offer, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and cakes to die for. The selection was vegan and vegetarian suitable. I had tea, which was served with a tea strainer as it was real tea leaves, in quaint china tea pot with milk in cow shaped jug and lovely bone china tea cup and saucer. I also chose raspberry and chocolate cake, which was moist, flavourful and scrumptious. The rest of the area was like a gift shop/antique shop, a surprise around every corner. In the other part is a dog grooming parlour which is a bonus as the restaurant is dog friendly and has its own dog menu !

We had breakfast and sunday lunch delivered from here. Breakfast tasted lovely, nice and warm. Sunday lunch was also lovely, being able to have it delivered was also great! Portion size for both the breakfasts and sunday lunch also great. Will definitely be ordering again.

I am just concerned that the drive through person cannot understand what it means when you order 2 medium big mac meals. The order had no fries and when checking the receipt it didn't even have the correct order on it. I am speechless, I have no words

Fast food restaurant. Never heard such a lie in my life. All I wanted was a chicken mayo and had to wait in a bay! My baby was in the car sleeping, so I couldn’t just run inside and get it. Was told to park up but again no bays were available because I obviously wasn’t the only one that had to wait for food. Bloody ridiculous. Had to park ridiculously so your poor worker, which 9 times out of 10 they’re old, are running around looking for cars here there and everywhere. Instead of just saying park up maybe put a system in place where you know how many bays you have, sort them out first and get them cleared before telling more people to wait!!
