The best restaurants serving Default food in Cadnant Isle of Anglesey North Wales

Visited twice during our holiday and both evenings were excellent. All the staff were welcoming, informative and professional. Great atmosphere. The small plates all have an imaginative twist and having tried 10 different ones over the 2 visits there was no disappointment in any. Highly recommend.

Loved everything about Sosban! Everything was done with intent and from the heart. This is very confident cooking and there is nothing mainstream about the entire experience. Go if you have an open mind, adventurous and are able to trust the chef. If you like a convential michelin starred restaurant, then this won't be for you.

Dropped in for a late Sunday lunch and enjoyed excellent sandwiches with home made foccacia, avo and veggy bacon with fries sides. V tasty and filling. Couple of drinks to wash it down, the Nokota IPA from the Wild Horse Brewery in Llandudno being particularly easy to drink. Good service, nice vibe and open on a Sunday! Result!

A fabulously curated collection of cheese and deli items - there's always something interesting to try, friendly advice and explanations and brilliant sandwiches at lunchtimes. The Christmas sandwich this year was stunning and it's lovely to come for wine and cheese in the evening. We really enjoy having &Caws on our doorstep and our two cats have been big fans too. The menu is short and simple allowing the produce to shine and if there's anything in the fridge or shelves you would like to have, you can pick it up and add it on. The feta and spinach pies are worth an early trip for and the cakes are well chosen and interesting flavours. There's also fondue nights, delicious toasties and hot food as well as pop-up dining from local chefs which always have delicious sounding menus and sell out quickly. & Caws are a0 really lovely addition to Menai Bridge.

It was a nice place to visit. One of the shops, pets are welcome. A good food selection is available.

For 4 people, we ordered 2 appetizers and 8 small plates. All of the dishes were innovative and very delicious. I was so satisfied that I could go there every day. I found a hair in my dessert. Because I know how that can happen, and it was obviously from the chefs head. I didn't say anything while eating. After we finished I discretely told the waiter, whom told the chef. And the chef instead of apologizing, started questioning the waiter asking “did you see her take the hair out of the food?” I was willing AND DID pay full price. But I didn't get so much as an apology from anyone there. Very disappointed, as I would expect a chef to take such matters more seriously. The food was good, I have had better at Michelin guide restaurants in the area though.

Authentic Italian pizzas, very good service and staff. Creamy cappuccino and great cakes too! We went to this place after our South Stack lighthouse visit for dinner and the pizzas definitely lived up the hype. We ordered a Romana and Quattro Formaggi and were served these with a pizza scissor and some garlic and chilli oil to top it up. Both husband and I enjoyed these- were more than full on our way back. Must visit if near Menai Bridge. I also liked the extra large monstera plant :)

Limited menu, struggled to order as didn't have items in. Very quiet and pricey for what it is. Not sure if still advertised as Portuguese but no real Portuguese dishes. Not much of an atmosphere. Staff were friendly though and coffee was well made.

Top notch Chinese takeaway that we visited whilst on holiday nearby - would love to have something this good where we live! Good, friendly service and great portion sizes for a reasonable cost. Would highly recommend and definitely use again if staying in the area.

We’ve been a few times, for tapas and for Sunday lunch. Food is consistently top notch, the Sunday roast is the best around! Great for a date night or a family meal, highly reccomend.
