The best restaurants serving Default food in Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

I went here as someone recommended to me this place , food was really nice , good value for money and nice atmosphere. 👌

Oh my goodness was this place amazing. I had their thali and momos. Their chickpeas and chicken in particular were some of the best bites of food I've ever had. The chickpeas have such a different and addictive flavour - sour but not bitter with layers of flavour. The chicken also divine. Momos were very nice too. We will be driving the 2.5 hours back to the peak district soon just to eat here. If you get a chance definitely make a stop here. I'll just be over here drooling 🤤

I love this place it’s another of our Sheffield coffee favourites. The young lady who is front of house has the most lovely manner. Be warned if you come for a cuppa you will take one look at the food and you will have to try it. You will return for the wonderful Italian sausage!

Kunefe and baklava are amazing, definitely try them...

The only thing you need to be aware of when visiting Memory Lane Tea Room is that it is a cash only establishment. We hmmade a no hassle booking over the telephone for four adults and one infant. We received a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival. Our drinks orders were taken and by the time we had chosen our meals they has been served to us at the table. A very good menu is available. Just when we thought " yes, I'll have that" something else just as appealing caught your eye, then something else, then something else. The food itself did not disappoint. Generous portions at very reasonable prices. Everyone of us commented on how tasty the food was. Four adult mains and desserts with drinks and a child's tray £53.35. Far less than we expected. Worthy of another visit in the not too distant future.

DO NOT GO BACK TO YOUR LOCAL CURRY HOUSE BEFORE YOU TRY THIS PLACE. Got your attention.. A hidden gem, got recommended to me via word of mouth, Food was fresh made to order and tasted fantastic, a small quaint restaurant bang outside BDTBL to which I will be returning to in the future, do not hesitate, book and enjoy the experience, had a good chat with the owner after top bloke and very accommodating, staff were polite and quick to order. 10/10 can’t fault.

Wow. Where do I start. Me and my sister decided to go out for a last minute Friday night Indian. We searched trip advisor for the best curry houses in Sheffield, and scrolled down and saw this place. I thought the reviews look promising, let’s give it a go, and wow I’m so glad that we did. We arrived late at 9pm, without realising that it closed at 10pm, and they were kind enough to still serve us and cater for our needs! I have honestly never tasted food as flavoursome as this! Every mouthful of my food was an absolute delight, and I have not had an Indian quite like this for a very long time! The pickle tray was unique, and even included pineapple dip which was beaut. Even the naan bread and the rice was cooked perfect. Nothing was overcooked! The service was exceptional, and the staff / owner were so friendly and inviting. This small family run business deserves more recognition, so please come here and try the place for yourselves, and spread the word. I recommend this place 1000%, and will be back!

Unfortunately I have to say the food was average ,after reading reviews my expectations of this place were higher . I ordered orange juice ..got squash instead but still I was charged for j2O .The staff who was serving us was very nice .Restaurant by itself it's very nice and cozy.

Great decor and friendly service. Had the new bhaji wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it! Very flavourful and generous portion served with well dressed salad and nachos, would definitely recommend!

What a discovery ...delicious onion and spinach bhajis and somosas and a dhal we took home for tea ...all super tasty and wholesome and very good value..the Bhaji Wrap at £6.50 is a taste monster and is a BIG eat. Friendly and efficient staff ...highly recommended x
