The best restaurants serving Default food in Churnet East Staffordshire West Midlands

Best fish and chips ever. Everything about this place I would give 5 stars, from the customer service, the hygiene and of course the food itself. Would definitely recommend!

The restaurant was very quiet, literally empty. There was no one just one person in staff. However, we asked for a proper spicy indian curry, they suggested DELHI Karachi and north indian garlic chili (we asked to add chicken) it was really delicious, a bit more spicy than we asked but it was grt overall. We had mixed grill as starters and it was delicious too! Although the management was not very good. We had to go over and call them everytime. I also felt, the sides prices was a bit too much for the size. However, putting the poor hotel management and prices aside, I would say the taste is absolutely the only thing that would make me want to come here again. Its all about food and its taste after all.

Really good food , very tasty , generous portions and a really nice family running it , we run a local pub and will be recommending this place to our guests :)

What an absolute amazing pub, staff are great, they support the community. Food is amazing and all home cooked, atmosphere is great, so welcoming. Couldn't ask for a better local pub!

We visited last week & it was very busy & popular. We arrived at 12 noon, just in time to beat the lunchtime rush. The staff were efficient & pleasant & our food was delicious, reasonably priced & plentiful. Our one criticism is that there was only one person taking food & drink orders & he was rushed off his feet. This led to a large queue forming, which only puts stress on the one person manning the order till. There were plenty of staff on duty, so why not install another till & put an additional member of staff on duty to help out & to clear the queue faster? People really don't like queuing. If we'd have come in a few minutes later & seen the size of the queue, we would've left & gone elsewhere to spend our money. Please get this sorted as everything else is perfect.

Great food, drinks and deserts. Friendly and quick service from landlord Keiren and team. Burgers were amazing, best burger sauce around! Great beer garden

Was very quick upon request, beans were warm toast was ok, however the sausage was raw, the eggs tasted like petrol& the cheese in the oatcakes was uncooked, we had to cook them ourselves when we took it home and the cheese had a powdery texture to it. Everything was burnt on the outside.
