The best restaurants serving Default food in Coleford and Holcombe Mendip South West

Lovely place to eat , food was fab , my hubby had the florentine sea bass and I had the lamb shoulder both were delicious , I was hesitant about the lamb as I don’t usually eat it but thought I would try some thing different , so glad I did , it was presented well and portion size was just right , I asked for some mint sauce with the lamb and the chef made some up for me especially !! The staff were attentive , warm and welcoming it was a really great evening dining experience , we would recommend it and would come back again when we are in Balleter

Found this place by accident, decided to stop for a drink and food Lovely old building sympathetically extended, good parking nice outside seating and play area on a stream Nice shop with a good supply of products and in door cafe/restaurant area and a small bar area Sadly we only stayed for a drink as the offensive smell in the garden, potentially coming from a nearby septic tank

Fantastic local pub. Proper old school local drinkers' established. Friendly owner, friendly locals, loads of character and charm... feels like stepping back in time to what pubs used to be. Best of all, you can count on a chat with Aura, the pub cat, who's invariably to be found occupying her favourite chair.
