Oh dear. Suffice to say, you don't go here for a quiet coffee. Wanted to read my paper and mind my own business... just not possible, Too many yummy mummys taking every table with babies dumped in what looks like an unofficial creche area. It's also very expensive for what I had - a poorly made coffee which had too much hot water and too little coffee. I won't be visiting here again.

Excellent village pub with great outdoor space, really good quality food and friendly service

Very good service and very tasty food. Tikka Masala was great. Grilled chicken with chicken was also excellent. Prices are also reasonable and everyone's food was really very good.

We were looking to book Pizza Cucina for our wedding and while we really liked the pizza, the communication caused us to look elsewhere.

One of the most memorable country pub experiences ever! Picturesque surroundings. Historic building. Warm and welcoming staff who cares to make every customer feel at home. Very good wine list with nice selections and many options by the glass. Food was spectacular - made from fresh ingredients and with an individual touch in how it was served. If we had to change one thing - it would be great to have a bigger lager selection on tap. But we'll be back either way. :)
