The best restaurants serving Default food in Capel Tunbridge Wells South East

I found the lady behind the bar to be really rude and hostile. We walked out without even buying a drink. Please think about how you speak to people. You never know what they are going through personally.

Inedible food, very poor value for money. £78 for a medium sized very burnt pizza tasting only of charcoal, a portion of fish and chips and two cokes. Oh, and I nearly missed these: half a sliced radish and 8 spinach leaves masquerading as a salad and a cheeseboard with 4 microscopic slices of generic supermarket cheese and two Jacob’s Cream Crackers. I’ve had a stomach ache all day since. Avoid at all costs.

More than half our order was missing , we had to do a 40 min round trip to collect a new order. The rice had pieces of unidentified items in it and there was no apology forthcoming

Came on Friday evening with two friends. We had a great time. Lovely food and service from Emma (new lady). Thank you. See you soon.

A very rare visit to this pub, is a pleasant experience. It’s not particularly local to me , or on route… but I know it’s there , and hopefully open- so it’s worth a visit. Friendly enough staff, friendly local patronage … and menu looks great, so will definitely check out the food again one day soon.
