Great traditional no frills pub. Superb beer always available

The only good thing are the staff, they were lovely. The food on the other has really deteriorated unfortunately. Very sad indeed, it was once lovely place to go to.

Very friendly with great doggie facilities. I've never seen a pub supply blankets and toys as well water and biscuits. We had a lovely lunch here on the way to the coast and were very glad we stopped.

Avoid. This Macknades open air outlet is a disgrace to a fine company. No indication on the menu that the baguettes were sourdough, and the bread was as tough as old boots - unchewable, and uncuttable
