Very pleasant small tea room, home made cakes and sandwiches. Very friendly, not expensive. Great place to stop off for food and a chat

Very poor experience recently. Busy and did not cope. Waited over an hour to be served and no table despite booking.

Really disappointing!booked for Sunday lunch and ordered 2 roast beef it was so tough and half inch of fat round it so was asked if we would like steak knives but still couldn't cut it!Yorkshire puds were cold and nothing looked appetising. So left it and walked out. Few people eating outside but nobody but us inside. Never again.

DO NOT ENTERTAIN STAYING AT THIS PLACE. Arrived to a cold and unwelcoming room. Extremely noisy as the room is in a courtyard where the kids play and scream outside, and there is no sound insulation from the outside. All rooms lost power at 5pm and no electricity, no light, no hot water or heating. Just a cold dark room. (We monitored the website and electric was back on @ circa 3am!!) Discussed with the manager that we can’t stay in a place that couldn’t provide basic amenities, but was told that no refund would be given. Spoke to the owner Nick Duval on the following day and he refused any form of refund saying electricity is not in his problem, tough luck, go and claim from the electric provider, and if I don’t like it I should ‘sue him’!! He then put the phone down on me and blocked my number. Obviously Nick needs the £62 more than I do. !!!!!!! AVOID !!!!!!

Precioso restaurante. Buen ambiente, personal servicial, cortés y excelente comida. Habría comido cualquier cosa del menú. El cerdo del vientre estaba delicioso, complementado con camotes, puré de col roja (inusual pero perfecto con el cerdo) y una deliciosa ensalada de col, perfectamente equilibrada. Los postres también fueron excelentes, gracias que volveremos a probar el almuerzo del domingo

Me veo como un poco conocedor de hamburguesas, y rara vez siento la necesidad de revisar las hamburguesas que consumo, sin embargo en esta ocasión con gusto cantaría desde los tejados para promover la comida que acabo de tener el placer de comer. Este es un establecimiento extremadamente acogedor y acogedor que me ha dejado sonriendo ampliamente. Sigue con el buen trabajo, volveré pronto.

Stood waiting for 10 mins 1 person serving beer coffee food needs more staff. Won't be going back there again so. Walked out.

Stopped at the Burger King on the A1(M) at Skellow during a long drive and it was a pleasant experience! The food was fresh, hot, and tasted good. Service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant area was clean and tidy. Good spot for a quick bite and a break. I can stop by again when passing through.
