High quality self-catering accommodation in a beautiful surrounding

We have eaten here as locals several times and nothing is too much trouble, however large the group is. The food is superb. Fresh fish in Tempura is exceptional. The fusion of flavours and the variety of tasty dishes is a real treat. A really lovely experience.

We really liked Chale Green Stores and it's fabulous café - but it's closed! I guess there are just not enough people actually living locally all year to make it viable - but we're really surprised, as it always seemed so lively and so community-focused, as well as great for us visitors.This is a great loss, and I hope it can be revived.

Fabulous meal at Castlehaven. It was a beautiful day and dined overlooking the sea. Sea bass was delicious and perfectly cooked. Staff were knowledgeable and lovely. A must in the sunshine. Thank you.

We stayed last week at the mouse, have done many times over the last few years and don't look to stay anywhere else on the Island when we visit. The staff are just great, you have Tony who always and without fail gives a smile and a warm welcome each time. Deb who can't do enough for you, Alex the same...everyone fabulous. The menu is extensive and has pretty well what you need. The rooms, which I think we must have stayed in all of them by now are comfortable..! Thanks again and we'll see you later in the year. We arrived last minute with a party of 29, adults and kids after a football tournament. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The kids enjoyed the bouncy castle, and the food was delicious. When we come back to the island we will be definitely visiting again.

I stayed here with my daughter while walking the coast path. The pub is in the centre of the village and very convenient. The room was a good size and clean. We had the family room as there aren't any twin bedrooms. The bathroom was very nice, with both a claw foot bath and a large shower cubicle.
