Great pub with lovely food and fair on prices. The staff are what keep you going back as well, all of them are really friendly and personable. We have been a few times, the odd occasion at lunch time and also when the Euro’s were on, the atmosphere was buzzing and even though it was packed you didn't have to wait for more than a minute or two for drinks. Ethan is one staff member we know by name he's always very friendly and chatty, he's a top barman too! Highly recommended pub with gastro pub type menu.

Went there expecting to get food and decent beer. NO Food. Looks like pub is up for sale with little interest. Beer was OK, but pub noisy due to football. Definitely one to avoid. Went to Eureka for a nice curry instead,

Ok so since my fav chippy changed ownership a few years ago and subsequently went down hill at a rapid rate. I have been slowly working my way round Ashford to find my next regular. As this is slighly farther from me than i would wish, it was lower down my list to try. Finally i have my new regular. However all is not perfect: Fish is good news, lovely crisp batter and just cooked fish. Generous portion as well. Chips not such good news only just cooked. I like my chips with a bit of colour and a crisp exterior. These like almost any other chippies, as soon as they can push their finger through its cooked. Soft, flexible and pale in colour. The saving grace is a good varietal choice of spud. So I'll put the chip pan on at home and finish them off. Good service overall, everyone knew there responsibilities etc. All staff equipped with hair nets, although the gentleman sporting a large bushy red beard was not wearing a snood to cover it. Lastly and somewhat shockingly this place is absurdly good value for money, the portions are more than generous, quality is above average overall and prices lower than many. Recommended

Visited here for the first time with a friend. We were both truly impressed with our evening. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. The menu choice was great, and the daily deals are a fab idea. We had the Burger Deal and it did not dissapoint. Starters and desserts were tasty too, and well priced. The decor had a comfortable and upmarket feel. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

End of September me and my partner meet up in this place for the first time after a month separation. We was sitting in the garden watching the sunset together when I realised the lady serving at the counter was spaying on us behind the bushes for some reason. It was dark when she decided to walk all the way to the back garden, just to spy ot us, because she couldn't see us in the dark😁 Long story short, after few weeks me and my partner received a parking charge for using the car park which belongs to the pub. She was too busy to spy on us for 2 hours and had no time to tell us that the parking rules has changed recently. Never going back to this dodge place again! The staff need to tie back their hair. Been in this new store couple times now and each time there are staff serving with long hair not tied back. YUCK!
