So usually the place is banging for food, though asked for onion bhaji and what they served was hard deep fried coasters! Poor!!!

Excellent Sunday roast, in fact one of the best I’ve had - ignore previous reviews as there’s a new landlord and he’s got the pub back to its best. Highly recommend

Lovely hotel. Only slight issue we had was the plumbing for the shower, the water wouldn't go down very fast so had to keep turning off the shower to let the water go down. Would definitely recommend and come again

Horrible, ordered a gyros and it was just a box of foul tasting doner meat (ordered chicken) and salad full of onions... no bread, about 5 chips and the sauce was disgusting... an honest insult to call that Greek food :(

I went today advertised was a roast beef with onions in gravy what I received was dry beef fried onions half a jar of mustard prob a tub of butter oh n NO gravy!! I don't really eat so when I fancy something it has to be right FIRST n LAST time

Curry sauce is home made and amazing - everything is cooked fresh to order and the queue is usually out of the door. Can be difficult to access with limited opening times but consistently great food and portions are HUGE, easily shared so great value too.

Called in for our annual Christmas day drink and was presently surprised at the refurb that the pub has undertaken. The place looked fantastic. Nice modern, clean feel. Will definitely call in again before next Christmas.

Ordered on Uber eats where the reviews state 4 star.. unlike here, or I wouldn’t have ordered. Worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. Salt & Pepper chicken was raw in the middle of every single piece. The salt & pepper chips were bland and flavourless - bit of soggy onion was all the veg given with them. The 1/2 duck didn’t come shredded? Weird to start with but was also so burnt it looked like it had just gone for cremation. The chicken in black bean is flavourless with tough rubbery bits of chicken. Whole order was awful.

A good café with a wide choice of food at reasonable prices, my only complaint would be please could the tables be cleaned they always seem to be dirty.

That place was horrible. Expected delivery time it's not correct. The driver arrived 35 minutes behind schedule. Food was cold and they put just a bit salads. I paid extra for chess but was very little. I add to my order drink as well but the driver forgot take it out from the car. Terrible

Just ordered our Chinese which took an hour and a half, finally got the Chinese and they missed off a quarter of duck that I paid for off my order. After speaking to the manager who was very rude, they said there was cctv footage of them putting it in the bag, after explaining why I was frustrated about not receiving the duck he ended the phone on me!
