Morrisons in Tameside

A good café with a wide choice of food at reasonable prices, my only complaint would be please could the tables be cleaned they always seem to be dirty.

Morrisons cafe (Dukinfield) is a disgrace. Tables not properly wiped and cleaned, tables not cleared and piled high with plates/cups etc. No cutlery, the hot drinks machine, dirty and overflowing, what cups there were had not been properly cleaned and people having to wipe them out before using. Waited an hour for food to arrive, missing items when the food did finally arrive. Complained to store manager and got a full refund, others were doing the same. I suggest if this is your experience in this cafe then do the same, Morrisons might actually staff it properly then. Does nobody check these things or take any responsibility in keeping the cafe in order?

This cafe used to be really good, so much so it was difficult to get a table at busy times. The decline isn’t just recently but has been over a number of years. The quality of the food is ok it’s the way it’s cooked and served. There are not enough staff employed in the restaurant and, in my opinion, the staff that are there are not very qualified for the job. Please Morrisons get your act together and make this the great restaurant it once was.

Cold under cooked food , had several visits & none was pleasant…. Staff are pleasant enough & very helpful & polite ………..

Good quality, portions small and luke warm when served. The plates are cold so food temperature dropped. Service slow.

There was just one person on the counter with far too much to do. Sadly he could not cope. Meals were taking up to 45 minutes to arrive. When my breakfast was served the baked beans were cold. Staff need re training on how to serve, fingers should not be put inside cups when serving a hot drink. A lot of work to do if this cafe is to be recommended.

Went to cafe at 9 o'clock for breakfast. 3x breakfast, 2 x coffee 1 x zero coke. Staff very slow .. they didn't know about wether our coffee were brought to table as they changing their minds. I large breakfast came out and the girl said they forgot the tomatoes and will bring it after.. Small breakfast came with no bacon ,tomato and no toast. 3rd breakfast had more items missing.. not a good experience.. nobody knew what they were doing.

Well came today and they wouldn't even let us in the woman at the door said to us it's a 30 minutes wait and there was an hour to go to closing and hardly any body there so we said we will wait then she said again 30 minutes wait so basically she was telling us to bugger off! Because they couldn't be bothered cooking any more food. Wouldn't bother going if I was you they never have anything in any way they normal have a big list of things of what they don't have anyway Lots of morrisons cafe's are so badly managed don't now who runs them but it's like a free for all all the staff just do what they like when they like very disappointed.

Visited Morrisons at Dukinfield cafe this afternoon, we decided on the Christmas meal with all the trimmings and so glad we did it was lovely and reasonably priced at £5.75. The staff are always friendly and work extremely hard. So much nicer than other supermarkets locally. Thank you for reading my review.

Really nice atmosphere and so much more than most supermarkets out there. Good food and a good price overall.. Very clean as well..

Always have a breakfast here and to be fair you dont have to wait too long but compared to some of the other morrisons stores this one isnt one of the best for food. Service is good and the staff are friendly enough.

Had some hit n miss over the years but today’s breakfast is Probably the worst ever!!!! Looooong wait and then everything is over cooked!!! Wrinkle skin tasteless sausages fat with meat bacon cold beans hard poached egg. Absolutely rank!!

Visited the cafe for a Sunday morning breakfast over the bank holiday with my boyfriend. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. They were very good at amending our orders and giving us alternatives, I didn’t want tomato or mushrooms so they gave me a choice of swapping for hash brown an extra sausage, bacon. Asked for scrambled egg instead of fried. No issues at all, very easy process. A pleasant cafe, like the rustic/ homelike decor. Very good service, enjoyed the breakfast very much. Good portion size.

45 minutes to wait for a very poor quality breakfast, hash browns soggy, no beans or mushrooms so asked and mushrooms tinned!!! Urgh!! Tomatoes uncooked and black pudding on plate but wasn't ordered!! Tables left full of dirty pots, why can't people just clear the pots away on the tray and put on the trolley as Morrisons ask. Felt sorry for the staff, whoever is cooking today obviously can't!!! Need to improve Morrisons

Poor quality food swimming in grease if thats what you like you will love it service very slow but on the up side its very cheap

Went for something to eat with family tables full of other people’s left overs no we’re to sit . Come on Morrison’s pull you finger out

Sometimes really really good some times its rubbish you always get dirty forks knives sometime get unhappy staff

There are very nice staff at Morrisons cafe but thats where it ends. This was by far the worst ever breakfast i have ever had. The one strip of bacon was very fatty, the hash browns were soggy, the fried bread was dark brown as it was full of grease, the beans must have been cheapest and the tea was terrible. Never again

Never had a bad meal here, breakfast or lunch, food is always piping hot and staff are always happy to accomodate any changes or special requests without hesitation. They work very hard and are always friendly and cheerful.

A few times now over the last 2 months have had a poor experience, food comes out cold after a very long wait Even when not busy , seems like there’s not enough staff , shame as it’s a nice cosy cafe ..

Sadly, my 'title' rings true. This was the worst cafe experience I have ever had. We went on a busy Saturday morning, so I get a bit of a wait but my goodness it was awful. Got in the queue by the sandwiches at 11. By the time our order was taken it was 11:15. Food (bacon and sausage on toast and eggs benedict) arrived at 11:45. The number they have us for the table was sticky with old food. The knife I got had food and a hair on it, stuck to the caked on food. The eggs benedict sauce seemed to have sat on the muffin for too long as it was soggy and the eggs were not poached at all, they were hard boiled. It took us very nearly an hour for that. I won't be coming back to Morrison's Café.

Enjoyed a breakfast here. Quick service. Friendly staff. Clean & tidy + cleared tables. Good selection of food. Great sandwiches to take away for lunch.

We used to like it here, but now the prices have gone up and the portion sizes have gone down, we won't be returning.

Stopped in to pick up some milk etc, smelt the fresh bacon and was easily diverted for the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Well done Morrisons.

Es una gran relación calidad-precio y las patatas fritas de pescado n es un grande parte del precio. Nos encanta parar aquí después de compras y antes de salir, incluso si solo para un café!

We had the big breakfast and as usual, it was very good. However, the wait times for meals is getting longer and it took us some time to find clean cutlery! Needs improvement as this place has always been a favourite of ours.

He estado yendo a este supermercado por un largo tiempo ahora para hacer mi compra semanal y siempre ha sido un paseo por el parque para ir y hacer algo. El personal es muy amable y sociable olvida mis compras. Los productos que compro siempre limpísimo pero que el ocasional de pastelería que está un poco rancio. Recomendaría este supermercado a cualquiera si les gusta la buena comida barata donde no hay lío para comprar nada.

Siempre compras aquí, pero los últimos meses tiene muy mal!

Went for some bits tried to find a member of staff too help no luck eventually found some chatting stood on there phones. They were very unhelpful

Every time I do any form of shopping here the dates on the fresh food are rubbish, many a time the dates only have 1 or 2 days on. I try not to go, would rather go asda but sometimes don't have an option.

Generally very good service can at times get busy....food is of a very good standard at a very competitive price

Had 20 minutes to spare, thought I'd pop in for a sandwich and a coffee. Waited in the queue for 10 minutes whilst a family was being served, they had no idea what they wanted, they were perusing the menu at the till. Meanwhile a massive queue had formed. Why weren't they politely asked to stand aside until they had decided? Had to put the sandwich back and leave. I'm now hungry.

I often come here with the grandchildren as they eat free after school , the food is always hot and tasty although it gets very busy and the tables sometimes need cleaning I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be served.

Well placed amenity with everything close . Cafe / Resturant a favourite with families ,school kids, Granny's and general shoppers. Staff are not exactly full of cheer. Shopping hall is typically morrisons well stocked. Filling station is always busy , but congested layout , could be better planned.

value for money and kids eat for free what more could you ask for......the meals are very nice and fresh good cup of tea, and great choice of cream buns even if you just want afternoon tea and cake. all the staff are very helpful try it sometime..

This is the only morrisons I will eat in.The food is pipping hot & brought out in a reasonable time.The staff are friendly & helpful.Clean & presentable.

Consistent service and food quality at this decent sized café. We have visited here several times over the years and had a variety of meals, all of which have been value for money

The Big Breakfast is great value for money and the portions a good. The Cafe is very clean. The supermarket itself its very well laid out and very clean

This Store makes really good fish and chips and the special offer in the early evening cannot be beaten.

Dukinfield Morrisons is in urgent need of refurbishment. I've shopped there since it opened but have now left and started using Aldi.

This was once a great café with friendly faces and absolutely fantastic value for money. I used to visit just for the food, the supermarket was a bonus. However it has now obviously changed management and is a very average place to eat. Gone are the friendly faces, now almost everybody from those that take the order up to the ones that clean the tables, are miserable with soul destroying expressions on their faces. Boredom for breakfast. The staff don't want to be there. They don't want us to be there. They pay more attention to the table salt than the diners sat there. Want depression for dinner?Good, because that's what you'll get regardless of what you order. Sadness for supper. Served every day. You get the drift.

Staff always miserable and always moaning how much they hate their jobs and how underpaid they are and how hard it is to work her, only the ladies though. I got the you know whats from the omelette.

For a supermarket restaurant the food is top quality and great value for money. The Big Breakfasts are brilliant and see you though the day. you got to order extra sausage and black puds to round it off

Shopping is great but the best is the on site cafe. Fish,chips and mushy peas ( my favorite ) for about four pounds. How good is that and it is delicious.

Great shopping experience . Most staff are very helpful.Well presented store and very clean.Good car parking although may be could use a few more disabled spaces. shopping trolleys are readly availible . pleasent shopping experience . well worth a visit

Totally excellent in all aspects of service. We go 5 days a week to eat here & never have a problem. The staff are fantastic & you can always have a banter with them all. They are all funny, even when under pressure they all still give you a nice warm welcoming smile. If I could I would give them 11/10 for everything. GOOD staff. GOOD food. GOOD customer service. Thank you so much from Nigel & Michelle & keep up the good work as you deserve praise for what you all do.

I don't go often, but the all days breakfasts they do are really tasty and always hot & freshly booked.

No matter how busy this cafe is, the staff always have a smile on their face and nothing is ever too much for them, they chat to the customers and yet never seem to fall behind, food is always spot on and tables don't stay cluttered for long. Management should drag the staff from the Hyde store in so that they can see how a cafe SHOULD be run !
