The best restaurants serving Default food in Ashton Hurst Tameside North West

Fabulous. Would've be even better if the liquid content of the calcined wasn't there (perhaps water from washing the mushrooms?)

We have eaten here a few times and the lack of consistency always leaves you wondering what the experience will be like this time. The last time my mum ate here, they tried to charge her for a more expensive meal than the one she'd actually had. Three of us came for lunch on Monday and it was very quiet, so we expected the service to be good. We were sadly disappointed. The service began okay enough but declined rapidly. The food was nice but the time we had to wait for our main course (three pizzas) was far too long. We then waited a while for someone to come to ask if we wanted dessert or coffee so that we could ask for the bill. There were only a couple of other tables occupied but the waitresses seemed to prefer standing by the bar having a chat, rather than providing good customer service. Very disappointing.

The food was cold on arrival and the kebab was extremely dry with no salad or sauce. I threw it away after a couple of mouth fulls

We often get food from Lams, I think it's one of the best chippy's in Ashton, I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews on here, the chips are great, the gravy and curry sauce is delicious and all the Chinese meals I've had have been lovely.

Known this pub for 40 years. New broom has not made much difference. No real ale. Not one handpump. All keg and lager. Rather frequent a proper pub with good food.
