The best restaurants serving Default food in Ashton Hurst Tameside North West

We have eaten here a few times and the lack of consistency always leaves you wondering what the experience will be like this time. The last time my mum ate here, they tried to charge her for a more expensive meal than the one she'd actually had. Three of us came for lunch on Monday and it was very quiet, so we expected the service to be good. We were sadly disappointed. The service began okay enough but declined rapidly. The food was nice but the time we had to wait for our main course (three pizzas) was far too long. We then waited a while for someone to come to ask if we wanted dessert or coffee so that we could ask for the bill. There were only a couple of other tables occupied but the waitresses seemed to prefer standing by the bar having a chat, rather than providing good customer service. Very disappointing.

Food was cold, dry, greasy, chicken wings were burnt to a crisp, mixed platter was all dry and hard, dog wouldn't even eat it

Food was delivered on time, grandkids enjoyed it, but were disappointed that the drinks weren't sent, the driver did offer to go back for them, but i didn't like him to drive back and forth, I rang murghanos, they did apologise and said i could pick up the two unsent drinks, if i called in the shop at any time. Delivery was to Mossley

Overpriced and cold. Last time I'll be going there.

Known this pub for 40 years. New broom has not made much difference. No real ale. Not one handpump. All keg and lager. Rather frequent a proper pub with good food.

I ordered and did not recieve my order waited two hours and couldn't get through when I rang them.
