We love Indian food and this restaurant certainly didnt disappoint us. We didnt try the starters but the main courses were great. The naan bread was tasty and huge. Big portions. What a great find. We were only in the area for 2 nights. Would definitely go again if I was that direction again.

A lovely friendly restaurant with an All-Day “Full English Breakfast” as an alternative to their Southern Indian menu items. This weekend we have tried their breakfast menu- a full English and also the lighter English breakfast- both delicious with toast on the side. Next day, we returned for lunchtime and tried several of their traditional Southern Indian dishes. They were delicious but different to the usual Indian restaurant dishes with many items, like vadas and dosas, that we hadn’t tried before. The sauces were thinner and more authentic- rather similar to traditional Lancashire stews but with more herbs and spices. We could choose how spicy we wanted each sauce which was good as we all liked different heats. Prices range between £2.50 to £10 per dish - so excellent value. The meals themselves are full of flavour but are relatively light. This is great for people with normal appetites. If, like me, you have a larger appetite, you can do what I did and order a combination of starters and mains (some are small) until I felt appropriately full! For example, I had two starters and one small with one normal main and it only came to about £15. Or you could just leave room for dessert and a few more drinks from the bar! We will definitely go again and are thinking of booking there for a family get-together between Xmas and New Year. I have only given 4 stars because they are still developing their menu, not everything was available.

This was my first visit and will probably not bother going back again, The breakfast was pretty poor, and as the kitchen is open plan, I could see the staff plating up. Everything is handled, using bare hands and when the lady was plating up the fried eggs, I could actually see the oil dripping onto the plate. Used a napkin to soak up some of the oil from my plate, and received a dirty look from one of the staff members. The whole place feels greasy and even the table surfaces and chairs have a sticky feeling to them. Behind the counter, there are visible greasy hand marks on just about everything.A 5 star health and safety rating? I don't know when they achieved this, but based on this visit, I dont see how that's possible.

Excellent value two course lunch for £12.95 each, served 12 til 3pm. We ate outside as the weather was so nice. The food was hot, visually appealing and tasted fabulous. All the staff were really friendly.

La comida aquí era absolutamente preciosa y una de las mejores carnes que he tenido en los últimos tiempos. Muchas gracias por el gran personal en este restaurante.

Love the carvery. Friendly chef serving meat. Was very busy and he kept smiling and cheerful. Was looking for broccoli or another green veg as I'd already by passed the leeks!!! Only gripe. 2 of party had starters. 2/3 had ordered carvery but the main course was brought straight after starter, which was impressive considering how busy it was, b ut as we couldn't leave the adult with add needs alone it meant we are in stages. I was going to ask how long a wait for mains after starter , just didn't get chance!
