I use to come here at least once a week for lunch out. Been back once since they removed all the delicious specials. I won’t be returning unless they bring them back 🥺

Alex made our night. We bobbed over on a Wednesday evening for a mid week dinner date and it was great. We sat outside and Alex really looked after us to the point he has made me want to return to this restaurant and bring friends and family. The setting is beautiful and the food was great and reasonably priced.

Excellent three course lunch celebrating my birthday. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff with just the right level of chat. Great care obviously in the kitchens as all of the courses were faultless in taste and presentation. Stand out dish was the fillet steak - cooked to perfection and just melted in the mouth. If there was a wider choice for the starter/middle course we probably would have gone for four courses.

Called into after visiting an attraction 10 minutes away. So glad we found it after a quick google map search. With a tired 2 year old some pub staff would pull their face but here they were great and so accommodating. They brought out his good first and one he got stuck in his mood changed. The food for all of us was great and we couldn’t finish it. The service was impeccable and it was great to see a lively, upbeat pub/restaurant/inn doing so well. Plenty of others including our local could learn a lot from them. We also loved the resident dogs coming to say hello. Thanks for a great end to a lovely, sunny Sunday.
