A lovely higher end restaurant ideal for a date scenario or just hanging out with the girls as an occasional treat. Felt a little on the slow side and I was asked how the food was a few too many times although the waiter was pleasant. Atmosphere was quiet despite a few tables full which was pleasant.

The food was ok but not good enough for the price. I mentioned to the waiter that a pizza, which was hardly eaten, was very poor and nothing was adjusted on the bill. This is just not what you expect! The Goan curry tasted like a jar sauce but the starters were all good. Very unsure if we would return when there is much better food and service in the area. No tip was left.

Had a very nice Sunday lunch. The food was delicious, hot and plentiful. Service was very good. Not many people in which was surprising as the food was so good.

Good food, reasonable price, attentive staff. Of two recent lunches in the restaurant first steak was heavenly, second tough as old boots. Likewise the flavours of apple sweet, first time spectacular and superb flavour, 2nd time colourful but lacking flavour of apples (except in the sorbet). The restaurant has had a good makeover and I sincerely wish it well but whilst we ate our sweet two elderly florists entered to re-arrange the table floral displays and chatter to us that they were “the elves”. I seriously ask the managers: how would you like it if the staff came and vacuumed around your table, for example, whilst you sat in a restaurant eating your lunch that you will be charged for. Would you go back to that restaurant again?

Excellent food, but need to be consistent with delivery of food The roasts are amazing the best we have had, had the prawn cocktail twice, really good plenty prawns, the third time in a much smaller bowl less prawn by half & had the Cod & mussels once this was superb but unfortunately the next time was much smaller portion of Cod and less mussels and lacking of the amazing sauce, passed on, not a complaint as still tasted good but my comparison to the dishes before, hope they took it on board...

Top notch Sunday lunch at The Fold at Mytton Fold. Yummy food. Hot plates…Thank you. Busy staff so helpful too when we arrived with an extra grandchild, which meant a table for eight. Nothing too much trouble. Mytton Fold has been revamped and given a fresh, stylish new look since we were last there. Well worth a visit.

Disappointed at how poor the food was, genuinely one of the worst meals we've had out for a long time. The burger meat wouldn't have looked out of place at a random burger van cooked in an oven, and the chicken burger was a thinly sliced, under cooked breaded escalope. These are made to look better with a brioche bun and salad, it doesn't work. Paid extra for 'salt and pepper' fries which literally had just.... salt and pepper on. We thought they'd got the order wrong, but they came back with a small bowl of spices that were 'on' them and didn't offer a solution to how poor they were. Rip off. Forgot our water, had to ask for a drinks menu and sat us down, ran off, without asking if we required a high chair for our child. The only up side is how lovely the place looks. Will never return.

The food was delicious, I had salmon farfalle and rosemary garlic bread, all really tasty and well cooked. They also do the best affogato that I've come across. The restaurant is a little cramped and felt a little chaotic in that it didn't feel like a relaxing environment. We got a warm welcome from the owner(?) But after that it felt as if we were forgotten about. We found the service lacking from the two ladies: no eye contact, no smile, no please or thank you's, no parmesan or black pepper, not one person asked us how we enjoyed our food and we had to stop people in their tracks in order to get another drink. Our conclusion was great food but poor service
