Mytton Fold Restaurant in Ribble Valley

Alex made our night. We bobbed over on a Wednesday evening for a mid week dinner date and it was great. We sat outside and Alex really looked after us to the point he has made me want to return to this restaurant and bring friends and family. The setting is beautiful and the food was great and reasonably priced.

Alex was such a star from contacting us to inform us on the booking we had made and the meal choice. Once there the staff were all so helpful and made the evening so special. We were given our own room with the family to celebrate a birthday and fathers day. All the men had the first drink for free which we though was a lovely gesture. Alex made sure our evening went smoothly. We will definitely recommend anyone booking to go here. A lovely venue and fantastic staff. Thank you to you all

Lovely food! Especially the roast dinner. Haven't had a bad meal here yet. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and always happy to go above and beyond!

We've been coming here for a while now and it's been lovely. But tonight our reserved table had been reallocated and they failed to notify us. Then we ordered and after a few minutes the lady serving us came back and told me that due to my intolerance to dairy and wheat I could not have the soup I'd ordered and all I could have was some cauliflower mousse, which I'd had before and it's awful. They could not offer me any alternatives even though we'd booked a week ago. We had no choice but to leave and go to a more accommodating and friendly restaurant. Worst time ever here.

We went to Mytton Fold for a meal on our anniversary. From the moment we entered we were treated with courtesy and professionalism. We had a drink in the bar before we went into the restaurant and the bar staff were very courteous. We walked through to the restaurant and we were seated quickly. We were given a complimentary glass of prosecco and ordered our food from a diverse but not overcrowded menu. Croquettes, cauliflower mousse, Goan curry and fish and chips and a bottle of Chenin Blanc. All of the food was well presented and very tasty, finished with coffee it was really very good. However, what made the night was the service. The staff were superb, professional, funny and attentive, it does elevate the experience. We also got an anniversary card, which was a nice touch. Apologies for confusing the young chap over the coffees, it was my fault not his 😳. We would definitely go again and recommend it if you consider going. Thank you.
