This is the best place to eat out in Blackburn. They have quite a lot of vegetarian dishes although we thoroughly enjoyed their "Tawa" which contains a mix of their starters and main dishes in decent portions. The service is excellent, all the staff are friendly and helpful.

Visited from Leicester to see our relatives and went for a lovely meal here. Delicious food and beautiful decor. I recommend the Tawa everything is spectacular. Cooked to perfection! Thank you for your amazing hospitality and looking after us all.

Every time I am back in Blackburn from South Africa, this is my first stop for food. The food is homely and wholesome just like the owner! Who can’t do enough for you to ensure your meal is up to scratch and nothing has been missed. Today he gave me a complimentary dish of their lollipop chicken because I mentioned I had not tried before. Service and food at Haweli is 10/10 from me and my family! Couldn’t recommend it enough.

The food was very good but the main thing was the service. The man serving us was hands down the best server as he was always ensuring our needs were met. He went above and beyond and this made us feel welcomed and created an enjoyable atmosphere.

Very clean restaurant with great hospitality, all the staff were polite, friendly and were at our aid at all times. The food is delicious and the price is very very reasonable. Any family of 4 or 5 they have good tawa offers and they are extremely filling. Overall rating would be over 5*, allah put barakath in this place and bless all the hard working staff, the molana at the till is very humble and the nana who's the supervisor is also very humble and down to earth. Best place when it comes to food, hospitality and cleanliness is 100%

I visited Haweli with my family. We were seated straight away, they had hand sanitiser available, the tables were spaced out and they took details which was very pleasing to see in this current situation. The young waiter who took our order was so friendly and helpful and made a good recommendation. At one point my son also spilled water everywhere and this was cleaned up very quickly without a problem. The other waiter an elder gentleman was also super friendly - excellent service from them all!!! The food was very delicious I recommend the Tawa’s where you get a mixture of starters and curry. Do go to Haweli you will certainly enjoy it!

Came with work friends on a Saturday evening. Delicious food, big menu, attentive and delightful staff.

Just been here for a birthday meal with the husband and what a beautiful quiet atmosphere to enjoy the delicious food in. The waiter was amazing well experienced and provided us with lots of information and help about the food. They were happy to change or add something to the tawa that we ordered and specilised it for the two of us. The customer service was 10 out of 10. I would recommend this place to all.

I am a good lover, and enjoyed eating in and Indian indo Chinese restaurant. I tried different restaurants in our place, but what interests me the most was was haweli which is located in higher Eanam at the heart of Blackburn the restaurant has a seating capacity up to 70 people. There food was amazing. Although the name reminds me of an indo Chinese atmosphere.

Have heard a lot about this place but never had a chance to visit until today. Went with the wife and 2 kids and after some prior research we decided to try one of their speciality Tawa's. The atmosphere within the restaurant is good, it was slightly quiet when we arrived but it was fine. The place is very clean and the staff very attentive. We went for the family platter. On ordering the food it arrived within 15minutes. The presentation was very impressive and it contained 5 each of lamb chops, chicken lollipops and lamb seekh kebabs. A lamb and chicken curries and a lamb biryani. This was surrounded on the outskirts of the Tawa (large steel round plate) with naans , roti's and chips. The food tasted as good as it looked. It was very tasty and you can request chilli hotness as required. We opted for a mild taste which was fine for us. Overall a great first experience and would definitely visit again.

Went for a meal here on New years Eve and had Lamb Biryani 'Bombay Style' and a Lamb Curry with a difference and they were both superb. We would definitely recommend.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times with both friends and family and I have to say it never disappoints. I was amused by how respectful they were towards us and the formality although it is not some extremely posh and fancy restaurant (by the way, the restaurant is still good looking and fancy enough!). We were offered a table straight away though there were 8 of us. The waiters were also very nice to us, and so was the owner. After ordering, the food didn't take long to come and when it did come, it was nice and hot, and very nice tasting. The portion sizes were good and the prices were reasonable - we ordered the 'tawa' which I would strongly recommend people to try! It basically just cost us a tenner each and we ordered like two 'tawa's' (tawa=platter) and we didn't even manage to finish it though there were eight of us. At the end, the owner gave us mints which is also nice courtesy to have. I would definitely recommend this place for group dinners at least (Don't know about dates because its more of a family environment) but yeah it was good.
