The best restaurants serving Default food in Hyndburn North West

Having been on a local errand, I fancied an ice cream so Googled 'ice cream, Oswaldtwistle' and this place popped up. A proper ice-cream parlour with good ice cream that is open all year round and you can sit inside or out if you wish. A waffle cone with a good portion of ice cream and flake cost me £2.50 - fair by today's standards. It satisfied my craving and can definitely recommend. There's also a chip shop adjoining it next door!

We have just enjoyed an excellent meal of organic tomato soup + roll, steak & chips, followed by lemon tart with ice-cream. Very good value for money. The only thing that could have been better would have been dining in their restaurant, roll on the end of vivid restrictions

I’ve eaten from many smash burger places all over the country and this place is by far the best I’ve ever had! Service is top class too, highly, highly recommended!!

The coffee was perfect and good quality coffee and they have syrups if you have a sweet tooth also the cakes are quality also

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with my husband today. I have eaten here before with friends but it was his first visit. He chose the Chilli and rice and I went for the Salmon .Both meals arrived at the table after a short wait despite being busy.The food was freshly prepared and very tasty.The staff are friendly and helpful and as I looked around it was obvious other people were enjoying their food too .

I was looking forward to a visit to Tipsy Cows after seeing FB posts for months. The fondue was amazingly tasty and could easily of eaten a second helping. The selection of cheeses both local and overseas were so delicious. Chese served with lemon curd was a favourite as was the mingy cheese in a cup. The meat selection was fantastic too, pork pies, Spanish sausage and pickles that went well. The service was top class. The only downside was we were so full to bursting we could only manage to sample a couple of drinks 🍸. Cocktails were amazing as was the wine. Thanks. We will be back on our next trip from Oz

Called for breakfast, fresh hot bacon and egg sandwich, it was lovely, also lovely lady serving. Will call again

Eat a fair share of Thai food and this rates up there as one of the top ones. Great food, lovely service, spotlessly clean, i would recommend getting in touch to check on wait times as she can get very busy.
