The best restaurants serving Default food in Hyndburn North West

Having been on a local errand, I fancied an ice cream so Googled 'ice cream, Oswaldtwistle' and this place popped up. A proper ice-cream parlour with good ice cream that is open all year round and you can sit inside or out if you wish. A waffle cone with a good portion of ice cream and flake cost me £2.50 - fair by today's standards. It satisfied my craving and can definitely recommend. There's also a chip shop adjoining it next door!

Called in today for lunch after seeing a review on U Tube. We are not regulars to takeaways, so we weren't sure what to expect. The owner was very welcoming and took time to explain the menu. As I don't eat meat, he suggested a falafel wrap. My husband had the chicken shawarma wrap. We also ordered a cheesey fatayer. WOW. Fresh, flavourful, and so delicious! 😋 The fatayers are crispy but so soft. 👌 You have to try them! The wraps, bursting with the freshest salad 🥗 and spicy sauces. The shredded chicken was succulent and the falafel delicious. We had to take half our wraps away as we just couldn't finish it all. Friendly, quick, fresh, delicious food. Just try it. We have just enjoyed an excellent meal of organic tomato soup + roll, steak & chips, followed by lemon tart with ice-cream. Very good value for money. The only thing that could have been better would have been dining in their restaurant, roll on the end of vivid restrictions

The coffee was perfect and good quality coffee and they have syrups if you have a sweet tooth also the cakes are quality also

Amazing food and service at The Crafty Fox this tea time. We arrived here for a catch up and ordered the chicken and ham pie, when it arrived it was really nicely presented with fresh vegetables. The owner was really lovely very friendly, funny and accommodating We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

Fabulous staff, they love what they do and full of passion. Good hearts too, they do a lot of charity work and help their community so much. But the drinks variety and the lovely cheese boards are worth every penny. I love the fondue, and I think it's the best thing on the menu, so I always go for this. But the cheese boards are fab and generous. It's a lovely and cosy location for a date night or a good chin wag and laughter with a few good friends, highly recommend trying it and supporting this lovely little business, which is a real little gem on the lovely little community it is in.

Called for breakfast, fresh hot bacon and egg sandwich, it was lovely, also lovely lady serving. Will call again

Eat a fair share of Thai food and this rates up there as one of the top ones. Great food, lovely service, spotlessly clean, i would recommend getting in touch to check on wait times as she can get very busy.

Absolutely one of the best in lancashire.amazing food.staff.welcome.visit quite often as do others who are regulars.b even better when warm enough to open the conservatory.

Lively local bar with interesting selection of beers, including a couple of cask offerings. Went to see live music and was made welcome. A little bit hectic for my tastes nowadays, but that isn't the venue's problem; prices reasonable, all good!

Accessed from the towpath, great omelettes, jam & toast and mugs of tea. Good value! Run by a lovely couple🙂
