Absolute gem of a bar, both in terms of quality of wine and beer on offer and easily the best outdoor beer garden in the town centre.

An institution. Simple quality comfort food served by friendly and helpful staff in a characterful island of positivity where time has stood still...... In a good way.

Wonderful, friendly family run gem. We felt so welcome and the food was lovely. We tried all the geek beers and Greek wine, we will be back for more. A taste of Greece in bolton.

Came around this place by accident while waiting for my movie to start waiting something to eat I tried a kebab and he cooked it fresh and I've been a few times since and always give a tip and he always busy and food always fresh and I always feel welcome, the place is clean and tidy and think it's family run.

Pros: Booked a table for a larger party which was ready for us on arrival. Food was really good, we ordered to the platter to get a taste of various menu items and a pizza. The chops were very good, quite spicy but tender...many places they are either burnt, tough or both. Generous portion sizes and food freshly cooked and served as the items become ready. Toilet facilities. Great value for money imo. They provided tap water...always a plus. And it's HMC certified. Cons: not a very big place so may have to wait on busier days, I don't know if there was an upstairs. A little bit noisy, but prob to be expected from a popular place. Didn't appear to have easy access to parking, so had to find off road places. They only take cash payments. The service in some parts wasn't good. Had to keep reminding them to bring various basic items which, for some reason, the waiters kept forgetting. Summary: I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to others esp if you're looking for quality food with a different flavour to the usual Asian restaurants and fast food joints available in Bolton.

Abi on the bar provided excellent customer service, quick and efficient, young in age but clearly very experienced! Great personality, brilliant interactions with customers and makes you want to return!

Thought I’d give this place another go. It used to be amazing. I reviewed. it a few years ago when we often ate here more than once a week. It went off the boil during the pandemic. Now it’s a nothing more than a rip off. They make you pay up front now for a reason. If I hadn’t have paid for what they served today, I would have refused to pay. As it was I took three bites and walked out. They can’t even be bothered to cook chicken satay over a grill any more. Now it’s fried. Fried chicken satay! The larb salad tasted as miserable as it looked and the owner / chef acted as if I was a nuisance rather than a customer but still added a mandatory service charge to the bill. Strong avoid.

This cafe is located in Bolton market place. The selection of *premium tea’s is spot on for someone like me who doesn’t drink caffeine, served in a pot so more than enough and at a great price! My friends cortardo was a 10/10. *None of this cheap tea bags full of chemicals! The cakes are divine-the brownies are super fresh and moist! Such a great little place to just sit and relax.

Took family for a meal. One star was given because the drinks were refreshingly cold. Place is lacking in atmosphere, dull, dreary and eating area is on the first floor. The lamb burger was smelly, burnt and rubbery. When staff/manager was told about it he just apologised! Chicken tikka was lacking in spice. Hot dog is not a hot dog it’s a flattened slab of meat in a bun with no caramelised onions or sauce. Manager informed us the menu on their website is old and out of date. There are notices reminding customers to clean up after you have finished. No surprise we will not be visiting this greasy joint ago .

We found this little gem whilst driving through Bolton. The prices are brilliant value, all food was tasty especially the rice box if you haven’t tried it please do. Kids meals are amazing value for money and the kids really enjoyed it.We travelled 25 mins to come here again today 🥰 family of 4 fed for just over £20 with lots of extras which is an absolute bargain these days. Will 100% visit again.

Very tasty and fresh breakfast. We ordered 2 peri breakfast baps and desi teas for takeout. The baps were very yummy and the peri sausage was delicious. The service was also fab and welcoming. We will be getting breakfast from here again :)

Really nice little bar underneath Bolton Market Place good selection of cask and keg beers plus for those others cider and larger. Great
