We three gluttoneers invaded this brilliant eatery on Sunday just gone. We were greeted and shown to our table. The decor remains unchanged: light colours and tiles with romantic lighting. However, they had the Christmas decs up, and it gave a sparkle and a sense of the festive spirit. Great. The background music was at the right decibel level and set the mood. Armed with a couple of Aperol Spritz and the hum of other diners already there, we made our selection from quite a varied menu, especially when you include their specials' board. Our starters comprised of Shetland Mussels in a cream Pernod sauce; Mango al Granchio; and Gamberoni Nino's: all were perfectly prepared and full of flavour. For our mains, two of us went for the Halibut off their specials' board, and one went for the Spaghetti Marinara; the taste was sublime. This was baptised with an Orvieto: an Italian white with a hint of sweetnes - fantastico. We were too full for dessert and concluded this culinary perfection with a lemon tea, black Americano, a Cappuccino, two black Sambucas, and a Tia Maria - plus complimentary ones! Grazie mille. Not only that, we were given a bottle gift. Our thanks to all at Nino's for the friendship, chat, laughter that always elevates our dining experience to the stratosphere. Our compliments to their talented chefs for the gastronomic extravaganza. If we don't see you before Christmas, Buon Natale and keep happy. Ciao.
To be honest I didnt want to go. after some dreadful meals in Indian restaurants I had decided enough was enough.
However my Wife wanted to try Temle and off we went.
All I can say i, s wow! What a change of cuisine. The menu was an upgrade from economy to business class.
We had got used to mundane Indian food where the same sauce was used on every dish and it was just a different meat/fish dish..
The food was presented well and tasted divine. clever use of spices and herbs, superb starters, nice choice of wines spirits etc.
The main courses were absolutley brlliant, well cooked and good portions. The naan bread was fluffy and light
The deserts were just normal buy in type fare, but again well served and good size portions!
The service was good when you had the waiters attention, however people coming in for takeaways and telephone orders tended to take them a little off track.
All in all abrilliant night and reasonably priced, will definatly be going again!
Located inside of The White Bear is a little place called Nosh Eel And Pie House me and family didn't expect too much but we were blown away the pie mash and liquor is to die for !! The prices varied as did the dishes but this was gastro food at its best we all left very happy and will be returning for sure we even asked for our compliments to passed on to the chef who then even made the effort to come out and greet us and thank us for our kind words !!! Great little find

Really nice staff, good decor and menu. Cosy and comfy especially as was cold and wet out . Karak chai was really good, super hot and creamy! Definitely worth going especially as £1 compared to £1:95 to £3 often charged!
