The best restaurants serving Default food in Hyde Park City of London, Westminster London

I’ve never been to Pergola before and was super excited for our first visit. On arrival the vibe was promising with great music and a bongo player and Saxophonist. We were seated by a lovely girl who was on her first shift working at Pergola. She took our drinks orders which was fine but 35/40 minutes later we were still waiting. Not sure why it took so long considering it was just a vodka,lemonade & lime and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. We then had to chase 3 different members of staff. When the drinks finally came over they gave us the bottle of wine as it was. No wine cooler which I find astonishing considering we were paying £48 for a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The manager did apologise and brought some cocktails over but it seemed that most tables were complaining and had the same cocktails on their table. We ordered food which came out reasonably fast. Most of it was fine but the mac & cheese was basically dry pasta with some cheese on. We then ordered more drinks (same order as the first) and shock the same thing happened we waited absolutely ages and then when they eventually turned up we were told we needed to vacate the table. We asked for the bill and 20 minutes later we are still sat there waiting for it. We went to the bar with our drinks as the lady said we could wait there. No one came and it was only when we got sick of waiting and wanted to leave and asked the waitress about our bill she looked confused and clearly hadn’t even remembered. She then got her manager who finally gave us the bill. It was an absolutely shocking visit and so disappointing. It’s not a cheap place and considering how much we spent I think it’s just not on. Unfortunately I would never go back or recommend.

Dante was great! Bottomless brunch was fantastic. Thankyou for being so lovely and attentive and being speedy with the drinks!

Staff and service appalling - like they were doing me a favour lol - go somewhere else please - lots of better (and friendlier) options in the area...

Basically horrible. £1 each for set of 6 glutinous bites. If you’re lucky you will be offered a teaspoon of sweet chilli sauce and a plastic fork. Avoid. November 19 update. Now shut, who can be surprised.

What a disappointment. It used to be a fun place to evoke memories of Turkey. Now instead of Turkish tea in glass cups we are faced with paper cups with a hole in the lid to drink through, and a wooden toothpick to stir in the sugar. The fine feta pastry barely warmed through, instead of being served with a knife and fork is now served in a paper bag bag. Needless to say it had become banal in the extreme, no better than the myriad of nondescript coffee joints.

No sauce at all, completely dry like Sahara, had to bin it , wouldn’t recommend , if you don’t remember to put sauce how can I be sure you remember to wash hands after toilet?

Sunday 16/oct. at dinner time I saw the worst impolite & ugly assistance manager, using Pathetic language behind the counter & arguing whit Innocent driver who was asking little Questions if the package is ready or should be cancel , I noticed she wasn't displaying any tag name on shes uniform , eating chew gum at working time then she’s appearance is joke approximately 0.5 kg of make up I was terrified & expecting all that makeup is for Halloween then I realise we are not yat in halloween day she should reduce the makeup to the minimum , we all know the professionalism is not Given for everybody but at least she need to wash shes face and brushing shes teeth to be at least Presentable to member of public & client & regular customer & delivery driver .

Not worth going there. Food is oily and the use of spices are all wrong. The food is bland and have no Indian character.
