The best restaurants serving Default food in Caddington Central Bedfordshire East of England

Just had the most delicious lunch. We had steak and ale pie, fish and chips followed by fudge brownie and blackberry/apple crumble. Staff all friendly, clean and tidy and great value. My only gripe is having dogs walking past as I’m eating indoors, I’ve never agreed with dogs in a restaurant especially if they’re halfway through a walk and been near other animals and what other animals leave behind. Not against dogs in a pub just not where people are eating. Other than that we had a great time.

Stopped in for a tea, coffee and scone for the first time this weekend as we happened to drive past. It was all lovely and reasonably priced. However it is disappointing that a venue in such a prime countryside location doesn’t at least allow dogs inside somewhere. I imagine their foot traffic would increase substantially if dog walkers could come in for a post/pre walk refreshment.

fantastic location set in the heart of the village this pub offers a friendly welcome from the staff and landlord gary, a nice wide selection of beers with 2 guest ales on all the time food was great value and did exactly was it was intended for pub grub will return

Met a friend here for breakfast. I had the vegetarian breakfast and my friend had the full English breakfast, we both enjoyed our food. The lady that served us was very helpful and the atmosphere very relaxed. The location is stunning, being in the middle of the Luton Hoo estate Parking absolutely no problem. Will definitely use this place again.

Grabbed a takeaway roast from here today and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever had. I arrived earlier than my collection time and the chef rushed to accommodate me, with a very generous amount… I will enjoy eating this again tomo :) thank you!

This place is awesome, the food is the best I have had in ages, the roast is an amazing, great portion size and fairly priced, the staff are also super friendly. I can’t wait to go back.

Friend called in to book table for following evening as phone number appeared not to connect. Arranged for 6 pm the following evening. Arrived just before 6, gate to car park shut. Drove around waiting until just after 6, gate still closed, attended a third time around 6.30, gate still closed. Nowhere to park given location and busy junction so we gave up. Shame, their loss!

Took almost 2 hours for a basic meal and put things on our bill that we didn’t have. Disgraceful. Would never visit again.

The choice was so little and food was absolutely tastless and poor quality. Really disappointing.

Very expensive and food is very low quality.
